Titus Chapter 3
Stay genuine and honor the authority, follow the rules, and always be about those good vibes.
Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
Avoid spreading negativity, chillax, and bring that charm to everyone.
To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, {but} gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
We used to be wildin', ignoring wisdom, getting played, chasing all the wrong things, living in jealousy and drama, and just throwing shade at each other.
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, {and} hating one another.
But then God’s kindness and love pulled up, and it was a whole vibe.
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, {love: or, pity}
Not because we deserved it, but 'cause He’s hella merciful, He rescued us through a fresh beginning and the Holy Spirit's glow-up.
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
He poured that out on us via Jesus, our ultimate Savior.
Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; {abundantly: Gr. richly}
So, since we’re basking in His grace, we’re heirs to that eternal life hope.
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
This is straight facts, and I want you to keep it real so those who believe in God stay grinding on their good work. That stuff is solid and benefits everyone.
{This is} a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
Just skip the pointless beef, family drama, and debates about the law; they’re just a waste of time, fr.
But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
If someone’s acting sus after a few warnings, just cut them loose.
A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
Know that they’re off the path and sinning, just messing things up for themselves.
Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
When I send Artemas or Tychicus, be ready to roll over to me in Nicopolis; I’m chilling there for the winter.
When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.
Make sure Zenas the lawyer and Apollos get what they need for their trip, no cap.
Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.
And let our crew learn to keep doing good things for the right reasons, so they’re not just taking up space.
And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful. {maintain...: or, profess honest trades}
Everyone with me sends their love. Say what’s good to those who vibe with us in faith. Grace be with all y’all. Amen. This was written to Titus, the first bishop of the church in Crete, from Nicopolis in Macedonia.
All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace {be} with you all. Amen. «{It was written to Titus, ordained the first bishop of the church of the Cretians, from Nicopolis of Macedonia.}»
