Titus Chapter 2
Ayo, let’s chat about some dope teachings:
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
The older fellas need to be chill, legit, and solid in faith, love, and patience.
That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. {sober: or, vigilant}
Same goes for the older ladies; they should keep it classy, skip the drama, moderate the wine, and spread those good vibes.
The aged women likewise, that {they be} in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; {holiness: or, holy women} {false...: or, one who foments strife}
School the young women on staying sober, loving their men, and connecting with their kiddos.
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, {sober: or, wise}
Stay elegant, faithful, keep it at home, only positive energy, and respect their husbands, no cap, so God’s message remains on point.
{To be} discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Younger guys need to hustle and keep their minds clear.
Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. {sober...: or, discreet}
In all things, showcase your solid deeds: keep it authentic in what you share, no fakes, just real vibes.
In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine {shewing} uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
Spit that truth so nobody can call you out; make the haters feel suspect with no negative words to say.
Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
Instruct the workers to be loyal to their bosses, keep it 100, and don’t backtalk.
{Exhort} servants to be obedient unto their own masters, {and} to please {them} well in all {things}; not answering again; {answering...: or, gainsaying}
No thievery, just demonstrate mad loyalty; let God’s teachings shine bright in all that you do.
Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
God’s grace that brings the ultimate glow-up has appeared for everyone, for real.
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, {hath...: or, to all men, hath appeared}
It’s teaching us to ditch the bad vibes and worldly desires, living sober, right, and godly in this crazy world.
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Stay focused on that blessed hope and the epic reveal of our GOAT, Jesus Christ.
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; {glorious...: Gr. the appearance of the glory of the great God, and of our Saviour Jesus Christ}
He sacrificed himself for us to rescue us from all the bad stuff and make us a special crew, pumped for good deeds.
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Share these messages, uplift others, and maintain your authority. Don’t let anyone slide on you.
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
