Romans Chapter 12
Ayo, fam, just wanna say, roll up with your whole self as a living energy check for God, 'cause that’s the real move, no cap.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, {which is} your reasonable service.
Don’t be basic like the rest of the world, but get your head straight and elevate, so you can showcase what’s dope and pure in God’s blueprint.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what {is} that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Listen up, don’t think you’re all that; stay humble and recognize that God’s gifted each of us our own faith journey.
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think {of himself} more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. {soberly: Gr. to sobriety}
We got hella parts in one body, but not everyone holds the same position, you know?
For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
We’re tight as one crew in Christ, each of us vibing off each other.
So we, {being} many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
We possess different talents, and if prophecy's your thing, then go for it according to your faith level; that’s fire.
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, {let us prophesy} according to the proportion of faith;
If you’re in ministry, just do you; if you teach, then bring that knowledge.
Or ministry, {let us wait} on {our} ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
If you’re lifting others up, do it with solid vibes; if you lead, stay on your grind; if you show mercy, do it genuinely.
Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, {let him do it} with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. {giveth: or, imparteth} {with simplicity: or, liberally}
Keep love 100% legit; detest the bad and stick to what’s solid, periodt.
{Let} love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Show love like family, putting each other first and keeping it respectful.
{Be} kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; {with...: or, in the love of the brethren}
Don’t slack on your hustle; stay pumped in spirit, serving the Lord like a boss.
Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
Stay excited in hope, chill during tough times, and keep the prayer game strong.
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
Share what you have with those in need; be ready for hospitality, for real.
Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
Bless those who throw shade your way; keep it uplifting and don’t throw shade back.
Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
Rejoice with those who are thriving, and cry with those who need support.
Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
Keep the same energy with each other; don’t act high and mighty, but kick it with the humble.
{Be} of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. {condescend...: or, be contented with mean things}
Don’t repay evil with evil; keep it genuine and transparent in front of everyone.
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
If you can, live in harmony with everyone, just vibe it out.
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Yo, beloveds, don’t seek revenge; let God take care of it, 'cause He’s got your back.
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but {rather} give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance {is} mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
If your enemy’s hungry, feed them; if they’re thirsty, give them a drink; that’s how you truly win, no cap.
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Don’t let evil overpower you; rather, conquer it with the good stuff.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
