Romans Chapter 11
So like, did God bail on His people? Nah fam, not at all. I’m also an Israelite, straight from Abraham and the tribe of Benjamin.
I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, {of} the tribe of Benjamin.
God didn’t dip on the crew He knew from the start. You feel me? The scripture talks about Elias, and he’s out here chatting with God about Israel, saying,
God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, {of Elias: Gr. in Elias?}
"Yo, they’ve eliminated your prophets and destroyed your altars; I’m the last one here, and they’re gunning for me."
Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
But God’s response? He’s got 7k homies who haven’t bowed to Baal, keeping it real.
But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to {the image of} Baal.
So even now, there’s a remnant still vibing with grace.
Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
And if it’s grace, then it ain’t about the hustle: if it was, then grace wouldn't be grace anymore. But if it’s about the hustle, then it ain't grace, and work ain't work.
And if by grace, then {is it} no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if {it be} of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
So what’s the sitch? Israel didn’t snag what they were chasing; but the chosen ones got it, while the rest are just vibing lost.
What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded {blinded: or, hardened}
(Just like it’s written, God put them in a daze, with eyes that can’t see and ears that can’t hear; still true today.)
(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. {slumber: or, remorse}
David’s like, "Let their table be a snare and a stumbling block for them."
And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
Let their eyes go blind, so they can’t see, and keep their backs bent forever.
Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
So I’m wondering, did they mess up to the point of totally falling? Nah fam, but their stumble brought major salvation to the Gentiles, making them kinda jealous, fr.
I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but {rather} through their fall salvation {is come} unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
If their fall is like the world’s glow-up, and their dip is the Gentiles' rise; think about how much more epic their comeback will be!
Now if the fall of them {be} the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? {diminishing: or, decay, or, loss}
I’m speaking to you Gentiles, since I’m the apostle for y’all, I gotta flex my role, no cap.
For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
If I can stir up some friendly competition with my peeps and save a few, that’d be lit.
If by any means I may provoke to emulation {them which are} my flesh, and might save some of them.
If their being set aside brings the world together, what’s it gonna be like when they’re back? Straight-up life from the dead, no lie!
For if the casting away of them {be} the reconciling of the world, what {shall} the receiving {of them be}, but life from the dead?
If the firstfruits are holy, then the whole batch is too, and if the root’s holy, the branches are too, periodt.
For if the firstfruit {be} holy, the lump {is} also {holy}: and if the root {be} holy, so {are} the branches.
If some branches got trimmed, and you, a wild olive tree, got grafted in, you’re vibing with the root and the good stuff from the olive tree.
And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; {among them: or, for them}
Don’t show off against the branches. If you do, remember, you’re not the root; the root keeps you up, fr.
Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
You could say, "The branches got axed so I could be in," but chill.
Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
True, they got cut off 'cause of disbelief, and you’re standing strong through faith. Don’t get all puffed up; stay humble, fam.
Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
If God didn’t hold back on the natural branches, you better watch your back, 'cause He might not spare you either, no cap.
For if God spared not the natural branches, {take heed} lest he also spare not thee.
Check the vibes of God’s goodness and the harsh side: for those who fell, it’s all about the tough stuff; but for you, it's all good, if you stay in that goodness. Otherwise, you might get cut off too, fr.
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in {his} goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
And they, if they don’t stay sus in their disbelief, will be grafted back in; God can totally make that happen again, no cap.
And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
If you were cut from a wild olive tree and then grafted into a good one, how much more will the natural branches get grafted back into their own tree? That’s wild, fr.
For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural {branches}, be graffed into their own olive tree?
I don’t want you to be clueless about this mystery, fam, so don’t think you’re all that; part of Israel is blind right now, until the full squad of Gentiles rolls in.
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. {blindness: or, hardness}
And all of Israel will get saved, for real: as it’s written, the Deliverer will come out of Sion and turn away the bad vibes from Jacob.
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
This is my promise to them: I’m taking away their sins, periodt.
For this {is} my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
About the gospel, they’re enemies for your sake; but for the chosen ones, they’re loved for the fathers’ sake, no cap.
As concerning the gospel, {they are} enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, {they are} beloved for the fathers' sakes.
The gifts and calling from God? Those are forever, no returns, fr.
For the gifts and calling of God {are} without repentance.
'Cause you didn’t believe God before, but now you’ve snagged mercy through their doubts, lit.
For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: {believed: or, obeyed}
Even though these folks are still not vibing, your mercy could help them catch some mercy too, no cap.
Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. {believed: or, obeyed}
God’s got everyone on the same page of doubt so He can flex His mercy on all, fr.
For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. {concluded...: or, shut them all up together}
Yo, the depth of God’s wisdom and knowledge is crazy! His judgments are sus, and His ways are just untraceable!
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable {are} his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
Like, who even knows what’s going on in the Lord’s thoughts? Or who’s been his hype man?
For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
Who’s ever given Him anything first, and He’s gonna pay them back? That’s just savage.
Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
Everything’s from Him, through Him, and for Him: all the glory forever, periodt.
For of him, and through him, and to him, {are} all things: to whom {be} glory for ever. Amen. {whom: Gr. him}
