Psalms Chapter 65
For real, praise is straight up waiting for you, God, in Sion; we’re def keeping our promises, no cap.
[To the chief Musician, A Psalm {and} Song of David.] Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed. {waiteth: Heb. is silent}
Ayo, you who hears all the prayers, everyone’s rolling up to you.
O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.
My sins are piled high, but you’re gonna clear them away, fr.
Iniquities prevail against me: {as for} our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away. {iniquities: Heb. Words, or, Matters of iniquities}
Blessed is the homie you choose to vibe with you, so he can chill in your courts; we’re gonna feel the goodness of your house, it’s fire.
Blessed {is the man whom} thou choosest, and causest to approach {unto thee, that} he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, {even} of thy holy temple.
You’re gonna respond to us with some major moves, God of our salvation; you're the ultimate source of confidence for everyone, even those chilling far out on the sea.
{By} terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; {who art} the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off {upon} the sea:
With your power, you lock down the mountains; you’re flexing hard.
Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; {being} girded with power:
You chill the seas and the waves, and you keep the chaos of the people in check.
Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.
Even those in the most distant places are shook by your signs; you make the mornings and evenings pop with joy.
They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice. {rejoice: or, sing}
You check on the earth and bless it with water; you’re making it thrive with the river of God, which is stacked with water; you set up the crops when you’re ready with the blessings.
Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, {which} is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it. {and...: or, after thou hadst made it to desire rain}
You water the ridges like it’s easy; you smooth out the furrows; you softening it up with showers; you bless the growth, periodt.
Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof. {settlest: or, causest rain to descend into} {makest...: Heb. dissolvest it}
You cap the year with your goodness; your paths are overflowing with abundance.
Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness. {with: Heb. of}
The pastures are giving off good vibes in the wilderness; the little hills are lit with joy all around.
They drop {upon} the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side. {rejoice...: Heb. are girded with joy}
The pastures are buzzing with flocks; the valleys are loaded with corn; they’re shouting for joy and singing, it’s bussin.
The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.
