Psalms Chapter 36
The bad energy in my heart is all like there's zero fear of God in their sight, fr.
[To the chief Musician, {A Psalm} of David the servant of the LORD.] The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, {that there is} no fear of God before his eyes.
They gas themselves up until their shady moves are just sus.
For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful. {until...: Heb. to find his iniquity to hate}
Their talk is packed with lies and bad energy; they've bailed on wisdom and solid acts.
The words of his mouth {are} iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, {and} to do good.
They scheme their drama in bed; they vibe with the wrong path and don’t even dislike evil, no cap.
He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way {that is} not good; he abhorreth not evil. {mischief: or, vanity}
Your mercy, Lord, stretches up to the heavens; your faithfulness is on a whole new level.
Thy mercy, O LORD, {is} in the heavens; {and} thy faithfulness {reacheth} unto the clouds.
Your righteousness stands tall like the mightiest mountains; your judgments run deep like the sea: you safeguard both humans and beasts, periodt.
Thy righteousness {is} like the great mountains; thy judgments {are} a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast. {the...: Heb. the mountains of God}
Your kindness is straight fire, God! That’s why the people vibe under your wings.
How excellent {is} thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. {excellent: Heb. precious}
They’ll be chilling with the goodness of your house; you’ll have them sipping from the stream of your delights.
They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. {abundantly...: Heb. watered}
You are the source of life: in your light, we catch that shine.
For with thee {is} the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
Keep dropping your kindness on those who vibe with you; your righteousness for the real ones at heart.
O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart. {continue: Heb. draw out at length}
Don’t let pride step to me, and keep the wicked from trying to push me out.
Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.
The crew spreading bad vibes has stumbled: they’re down and won’t rise again.
There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
