Psalms Chapter 37
Don’t let the haters get to you, fam, and don’t trip over those sketchy folks.
[{A Psalm} of David.] Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
They’re gonna be chopped down like grass, and vanish like weak plants.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
Have faith in the Lord and do good, and you’ll chill in the land; you’ll be taken care of, no cap.
Trust in the LORD, and do good; {so} shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. {verily: Heb. in truth, or, stableness}
Get hyped for the Lord, and He’ll hook you up with all the vibes you crave.
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Place your goals in the Lord's grip; trust Him, and He’ll make it pop off.
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring {it} to pass. {Commit...: Heb. Roll thy way upon}
He’ll shine your righteousness like a bright light, and your judgment like the midday sun.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
So just vibe with the Lord and be patient; don’t sweat it when the wicked seem to be thriving.
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. {Rest in: Heb. Be silent to}
Stop being salty, let go of that anger; don’t even think about getting sus.
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
Those who do wrong are getting cut off, but those who chill with the Lord? They’re inheriting the earth, fr.
For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
Just a sec, and the wicked won’t be here anymore; you’ll spot their crib, and it’ll be empty.
For yet a little while, and the wicked {shall} not {be}: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it {shall} not {be}.
The chill ones will vibe with the earth and all about that peace, no cap.
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
The shady ones be scheming against the good folks, all teeth gritted and sus.
The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. {plotteth: or, practiseth}
God’s just gonna laugh at them ‘cause He knows their time is coming, for real.
The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.
The wicked are out here with swords and bows, trying to bring down the needy and the real ones.
The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, {and} to slay such as be of upright conversation. {such...: Heb. the upright of way}
Their own swords gonna turn on them, and their bows? Total flop.
Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
A little that a good dude has is way better than all the wicked's cash, periodt.
A little that a righteous man hath {is} better than the riches of many wicked.
The wicked’s strength is about to get wrecked, but the Lord’s got the good ones covered, fr.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.
God knows the days of the real ones, and their legacy? It’s everlasting, no cap.
The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
They won’t be shaken during tough times, and when famines hit, they’ll still be chill.
They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
The wicked? They gonna disappear, and God’s enemies gonna be like burnt lamb fat, just poof into smoke.
But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD {shall be} as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. {the fat: Heb. the preciousness}
The wicked be borrowing but never pay up; the righteous are all about that mercy and generosity, fr.
The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
Those blessed by Him are gonna inherit the earth; but the cursed? They’re getting cut off, no cap.
For {such as be} blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and {they that be} cursed of him shall be cut off.
The steps of a good dude are totally guided by the Lord, and He’s vibing with his journey.
The steps of a {good} man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. {ordered: or, established}
Even if he stumbles, he won’t be totally down bad: the Lord’s got his back, periodt.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth {him with} his hand.
I’ve been young and now I’m old; but I’ve never seen the righteous left hanging or their fam begging for food, no cap.
I have been young, and {now} am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
He’s always showing mercy and lending out; his fam is blessed, that’s just real talk.
{He is} ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed {is} blessed. {ever: Heb. all the day}
Bounce from evil, do good, and vibe forever, you know?
Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
The Lord's all about that justice and never forgets His crew; they’re secure for life: but the wicked? They’re getting cut off.
For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
The righteous will inherit the land and chill there forever, bet.
The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
The mouth of the righteous drops wisdom, and his tongue is all about that judgment talk.
The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.
God’s law is straight up in his heart; he won’t trip up, no cap.
The law of his God {is} in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. {steps: or, goings}
The wicked are always checking out the righteous, trying to take them down, sus vibes.
The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.
The Lord's got his back, won't leave him hanging when judgment day rolls around.
The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
Just chill and trust in the Lord, keep it real, and He'll lift you up to own the land: when the wicked get cut off, you’ll see it go down.
Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see {it}.
I’ve seen the wicked flexing hard, spreading like a lush green tree, fr.
I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. {a green...: or, a green tree that groweth in his own soil}
But then poof, he was out; I looked for him, but he was MIA.
Yet he passed away, and, lo, he {was} not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
Peep the perfect dude, check out the upright: his endgame is nothing but peace.
Mark the perfect {man}, and behold the upright: for the end of {that} man {is} peace.
But the troublemakers? They’re getting wrecked together: the wicked's end is a hard cut.
But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
But the righteous? Their salvation is all about the Lord: He’s their strength when things get tough.
But the salvation of the righteous {is} of the LORD: {he is} their strength in the time of trouble.
The Lord’s gonna help them out, rescue them from the wicked, and save them, 'cause they trust in Him, periodt.
And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.
