Psalms Chapter 34
I’m vibin’ with the Lord nonstop: gotta keep that praise flowing from my lips, fr.
[{A Psalm} of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.] I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise {shall} continually {be} in my mouth. {Abimelech: or, Achish}
My soul’s flexin’ on the Lord: the humble homies catch this and get all hyped.
My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear {thereof}, and be glad.
Yo, let’s amplify the Lord together, and let’s boost His name up.
O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
I called on the Lord, and He pulled through, rescuing me from all my fears, no cap.
I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
They checked Him out and felt lighter: their faces were straight lit.
They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. {were lightened: or, they flowed unto him}
This broke dude was crying out, and the Lord heard him, saving him from all his battles.
This poor man cried, and the LORD heard {him}, and saved him out of all his troubles.
The Lord's angels are chillin’ with those who respect Him, delivering them, periodt.
The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
O taste and see that the Lord is legendary: blessed is the one who trusts in Him.
O taste and see that the LORD {is} good: blessed {is} the man {that} trusteth in him.
Respect the Lord, you saints: nobody’s lacking who’s got that vibe.
O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for {there is} no want to them that fear him.
Young lions might go hungry, but those who seek the Lord are straight solid.
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good {thing}.
Yo kids, tune in: I’m about to drop knowledge on the fear of the Lord.
Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
Who’s tryna live life and see good days? Bet, that’s the wave.
What man {is he that} desireth life, {and} loveth {many} days, that he may see good?
Keep your mouth away from drama, and don’t spill any sus tea.
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
Dip from evil, do good; chase peace like it’s the ultimate vibe.
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
The Lord’s eyes are on the righteous, and He hears their cries, fr.
The eyes of the LORD {are} upon the righteous, and his ears {are open} unto their cry.
The Lord’s face is turned against the evildoers, wiping them from memory.
The face of the LORD {is} against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
The righteous cry out, and the Lord’s got their six, delivering them from all their troubles.
{The righteous} cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted; He saves those with a crushed spirit, no cap.
The LORD {is} nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. {unto...: Heb. to the broken of heart} {of a contrite...: Heb. contrite of spirit}
The righteous face mad struggles, but the Lord saves them from all, periodt.
Many {are} the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
He keeps all His bones intact: not one’s getting broken.
He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
Evil’s gonna take out the wicked: those who despise the righteous will be left behind.
Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. {desolate: or, guilty}
The Lord redeems His servants’ souls: none who trust in Him will be left hanging.
The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. {desolate: or, guilty}
