Psalms Chapter 33
Vibe check! Get hyped for the Lord, squad: praising is definitely the move for the real ones.
Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: {for} praise is comely for the upright.
Show love to the Lord with the harp: sing it out with the psaltery and a ten-string banger.
Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery {and} an instrument of ten strings.
Drop a fresh track for Him; play it lit and loud, no cap.
Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
The word of the Lord is straight truth; all His works are fire.
For the word of the LORD {is} right; and all his works {are done} in truth.
He's all about that justice and righteousness: the earth is filled with His goodness.
He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. {goodness: or, mercy}
The heavens were crafted by the word of the Lord; all the stars came alive with His breath.
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
He scoops up the ocean waves like a pro: storing the depths like it’s nothing.
He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
Let the whole world vibe with the Lord's energy: everyone should be in awe of Him.
Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
He said it, and it happened; commanded, and it was set.
For he spake, and it was {done}; he commanded, and it stood fast.
The Lord shuts down the nations' plans: He makes their schemes disappear.
The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. {bringeth: Heb. maketh frustrate}
The Lord’s plans are eternal, His thoughts span generations, periodt.
The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. {to all...: Heb. to generation and generation}
Blessed is that nation whose God is the Lord; the peeps He selected are the real deal.
Blessed {is} the nation whose God {is} the LORD; {and} the people {whom} he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
The Lord’s peeping from the skies; He sees all the sons of men, no cap.
The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
From His spot, He checks out everyone on the ground.
From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
He vibes all their hearts the same; He connects with all their works.
He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.
No king gets rescued by a huge army: a strong dude can't flex his way outta trouble.
There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
A horse ain't gonna be your savior: no one’s getting delivered by its strength, fr.
An horse {is} a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver {any} by his great strength.
Yo, the Lord’s gaze is on those who fear Him, on those who trust in His mercy.
Behold, the eye of the LORD {is} upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
To save their souls from death, and keep them lit when famines hit.
To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
Our souls are waiting on the Lord: He’s our help and our shield, for real.
Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he {is} our help and our shield.
Our hearts will vibe with joy in Him, 'cause we trust in His holy name.
For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
Let Your mercy, O Lord, be on us, just like we put our hope in You.
Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
