Psalms Chapter 26
So God, peep this: I’ve been keeping it 100. I trust You, so I’m not slipping, no cap.
[{A Psalm} of David.] Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; {therefore} I shall not slide.
Lord, check me; put me through the test; see what’s really going on in my heart and mind.
Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
Your love's right here, and I'm vibin' with Your truth.
For thy lovingkindness {is} before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.
I don’t roll with the fake crowd, and I’m not hanging with the sketchy people.
I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
Can’t vibe with that bad energy; chilling with the wicked ain’t my scene.
I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.
I’m cleaning up, so I can vibe near Your altar, Lord.
I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:
I wanna shout out my thanks and share all the amazing things You’ve done.
That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.
Lord, I’m all about Your crib, that place where Your glory resides.
LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. {where...: Heb. of the tabernacle of thy honour}
Don’t roll me up with the sinners or my life with those who thirst for blood.
Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men: {Gather...: or, Take not away} {bloody...: Heb. men of blood}
They’re doing some shady stuff, and their hands are all about the bribes, sus.
In whose hands {is} mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes. {full...: Heb. filled with}
But for real, I’m living with integrity: save me and show me some mercy.
But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.
My feet are planted firm; in the gatherings, I’ll bless the Lord, no doubt.
My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.
