Psalms Chapter 107
For real, give mad props to the Lord 'cause He’s so solid: His mercy lasts forever, no cap.
O give thanks unto the LORD, for {he is} good: for his mercy {endureth} for ever.
Let the homies who got saved by the Lord speak out, those He snatched from the enemy's hold;
Let the redeemed of the LORD say {so}, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
He literally gathered them from all directions, east, west, north, and south, good vibes everywhere.
And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south. {south: Heb. sea}
These folks were lost in the wild, solo vibes; no place to chill out.
They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
Thirsty and starving, they were seriously fading out here.
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
In their struggle, they called on the Lord, and He totally came through, no doubt.
Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, {and} he delivered them out of their distresses.
He guided them on the right path, leading them to a place they could call home.
And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
If only people would hype up the Lord for His goodness and all the dope things He gets done!
Oh that {men} would praise the LORD {for} his goodness, and {for} his wonderful works to the children of men!
He satisfies the thirsty soul and hooks up the hungry soul with pure goodness.
For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
Those vibing in darkness and the shadow of death, caught up in struggles and chains;
Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, {being} bound in affliction and iron;
They straight up ignored God's words and dissed the Most High's advice, no cap.
Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
So, He made their hearts heavy with labor; they fell down, and no one had their backs.
Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and {there was} none to help.
They cried out to the Lord when life got rough, and He pulled them out of their chaos.
Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, {and} he saved them out of their distresses.
He brought them outta darkness and death vibes, breaking their chains like it was nothing.
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
For real, people should hype up the Lord for His goodness and the epic things He does for us!
Oh that {men} would praise the LORD {for} his goodness, and {for} his wonderful works to the children of men!
He smashed open the gates of brass and busted the iron bars like a boss.
For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
Fools be getting wrecked 'cause of their bad decisions and sins, fr.
Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
Their souls can’t handle food; they’re creeping up to death's door.
Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
Then they called on the Lord when things got tough, and He saved them from their struggles.
Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, {and} he saveth them out of their distresses.
He sent out His word, healed them, and rescued them from their fate.
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered {them} from their destructions.
Yo, people gotta vibe and show love to the Lord for His goodness and the wild things He does for us!
Oh that {men} would praise the LORD {for} his goodness, and {for} his wonderful works to the children of men!
And let's drop some thanks and give a shoutout to His works with all the good feels.
And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing. {rejoicing: Heb. singing}
Those who roll out on ships, doing their thing in the deep waters;
They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
They catch the Lord's works and His epic wonders in the sea.
These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
He’s the one who calls the stormy winds, making those waves pop off.
For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof. {raiseth: Heb. maketh to stand}
They rise to the sky, then crash back down; their souls are feeling that pressure, no cap.
They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
They’re swaying and stumbling like they’re lit, totally lost in the chaos.
They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end. {are...: Heb. all their wisdom is swallowed up}
When things get tough, they call out to the Lord, and He pulls them outta that mess.
Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
He turns the storm into chill vibes, and suddenly those waves are like, 'We good.'
He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
Then they're all smiles 'cause it’s calm; He guides them to where they wanna be.
Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
For real, people gotta give mad props to the Lord for His goodness and all the dope things He does for us, periodt!
Oh that {men} would praise the LORD {for} his goodness, and {for} his wonderful works to the children of men!
Let 'em hype Him up in the squad, and praise Him with the OGs, no cap.
Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
He straight up turns rivers into deserts and fresh water into dry land; that’s sus.
He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;
A lit land becomes barren, all because of the bad vibes from those living there.
A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein. {barrenness: Heb. saltiness}
He flips the wilderness into a chill spot with water and dry ground into fresh springs, fr.
He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.
He sets up the hungry to chill there, so they can build a city for living; that’s goated.
And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
They plant fields and vineyards that totally slay with the harvest, for real.
And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.
He blesses them so much, they’re multiplying like crazy; their cattle stay thriving, no cap.
He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
But then they get low-key wrecked by oppression, affliction, and all that sorrow, savage.
Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
He throws shade on the princes, making them wander in the wilderness, lost with no way out.
He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, {where there is} no way. {wilderness: or, void place}
God lifts up the poor from struggle and gives them fam like a squad.
Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh {him} families like a flock. {from: or, after}
The good peeps will see this and be hyped, while all the haters stay silent.
The righteous shall see {it}, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
If you’re wise and catch these vibes, you’ll truly know the Lord’s love.
Whoso {is} wise, and will observe these {things}, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.
