Psalms Chapter 108
Ayo God, my heart’s all in; I’m about to sing and show off my praise, even with my glory.
[A Song {or} Psalm of David.] O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
So grab that psaltery and harp: I’m getting up early, no cap.
Awake, psaltery and harp: I {myself} will awake early.
I’ll shout you out, Lord, in front of the crew: gonna drop some praises among the nations, fr.
I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
Your mercy is straight levels high, like above the skies: your truth stretches to the clouds, periodt.
For thy mercy {is} great above the heavens: and thy truth {reacheth} unto the clouds. {clouds: or, skies}
God, lift yourself up above the heavens: your glory is literally above the whole earth;
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
So that your chosen ones may be rescued: save with your right hand, and hit me back.
That thy beloved may be delivered: save {with} thy right hand, and answer me.
God dropped a word in his holiness; I’m lit, I’ll split Shechem, and take care of the valley of Succoth.
God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
Gilead’s mine; Manasseh’s mine; Ephraim’s my crew’s muscle; Judah’s my lawgiver;
Gilead {is} mine; Manasseh {is} mine; Ephraim also {is} the strength of mine head; Judah {is} my lawgiver;
Moab’s my washbasin; gonna toss my shoe over Edom; I’ll stunt on Philistia.
Moab {is} my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.
Who’s gonna take me into the strong city? Who’s gonna guide me into Edom?
Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
Aren’t you, God, the one who left us hanging? Will you not roll out with our squad?
{Wilt} not {thou}, O God, {who} hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
Give us support when it gets real: 'cause human help is sus.
Give us help from trouble: for vain {is} the help of man.
With God, we’re gonna pop off: he’s the one who’ll crush our enemies.
Through God we shall do valiantly: for he {it is that} shall tread down our enemies.
