Psalms Chapter 106
Shout out to the Lord, fam! Big thanks to God 'cause He’s just straight-up solid: His mercy lasts forever, no cap.
Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for {he is} good: for his mercy {endureth} for ever. {Praise...: Heb. Hallelujah}
Who can flex the epic moves of the Lord? Who can drop His praise without holding back?
Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? {who} can shew forth all his praise?
Blessed are those who keep it 100, and those who do right all the time, periodt.
Blessed {are} they that keep judgment, {and} he that doeth righteousness at all times.
Remember me, God, with that good vibe you bring to your squad: come through with that salvation, fr.
Remember me, O LORD, with the favour {that thou bearest unto} thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
Let me peep the good in your chosen ones, let me vibe with the joy of your nation, let me flex on your inheritance.
That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
We totally fumbled like our ancestors, straight-up sinned, and pulled some wicked moves, no cap.
We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
Our ancestors didn’t catch your wonders in Egypt; they forgot your wild mercies and tested you at the Red Sea, sus.
Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked {him} at the sea, {even} at the Red sea.
But still, He came through for them for His name’s sake, flexing His mighty power to show off.
Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
He called out to the Red Sea, and it dried right up: He led them through the depths like it was a stroll in the park.
He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
He saved them from the haters and rescued them from the enemy’s grip, goated move.
And he saved them from the hand of him that hated {them}, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
The waters ghosted their enemies; not one was left, no cap.
And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
They vibed with His words and were all about that praise.
Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
But they completely forgot His lit moves; they didn’t wait for His advice, fr.
They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel: {They soon...: Heb. They made haste, they forgat}
Instead, they were wildin' in the desert and testing God like, 'What’s up?'
But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert. {lusted...: Heb. lusted a lust}
He gave them what they wanted, but it left their souls feeling all kinds of empty.
And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
They were a bit jealous of Moses in the camp, while Aaron was just trying to keep it goated.
They envied Moses also in the camp, {and} Aaron the saint of the LORD.
The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan; Abiram’s crew got wrecked.
The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
A fire sparked in their squad; it roasted the wicked, periodt.
And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
They whipped up a calf at Horeb and started vibing with that melted mess.
They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
They totally traded their glory for a cow that munches on grass, sus vibes.
Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
They forgot about God, their savior who did some epic things in Egypt;
They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
Like, incredible works in the land of Ham, and wild stuff at the Red Sea.
Wondrous works in the land of Ham, {and} terrible things by the Red sea.
So, He was ready to wipe them out, but Moses, His chosen dude, stepped in and calmed His anger, so they didn’t get wrecked.
Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy {them}.
For real, they were all like, 'Nah' to the chill land and didn’t vibe with His word.
Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word: {the pleasant...: Heb. a land of desire}
Yet they were lowkey whining in their tents, ignoring the Lord’s voice, no cap.
But murmured in their tents, {and} hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
So He threw up His hands against them, ready to take them out in the desert:
Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness: {to overthrow: Heb. to make them fall}
To mess up their kids too among the nations and scatter them everywhere.
To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands. {to overthrow: Heb. to make them fall}
They linked up with Baal-peor and ate the dead guys’ sacrifices.
They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
They made Him mad with their wild ideas, and boom, the plague hit them.
Thus they provoked {him} to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
Then Phinehas stepped up and handled it: and that’s how the plague chilled out.
Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and {so} the plague was stayed.
And that was counted as major rizz for all the generations, no cap.
And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.
They lowkey made him mad at the waters of strife, and things went sideways for Moses, fr.
They angered {him} also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
They provoked his spirit, and he spoke without thinking, straight up.
Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.
They didn’t wipe out the nations like the Lord told them to, sus move.
They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:
Instead, they mixed with the heathens and picked up their vibes, lit.
But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
And they started serving their idols, which became a major trap for them.
And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
For real, they sacrificed their sons and daughters to devils, savage.
Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
They spilled innocent blood, even their own kids, to the idols of Canaan, and the land got wrecked.
And shed innocent blood, {even} the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
They defiled themselves with their actions, going wild with their inventions.
Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
So, the Lord got mad at His people, like, He was not having it with His own crew.
Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
God handed them over to the haters, and those who couldn’t stand them were running the show.
And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
Their foes were straight-up oppressing them, and they were stuck under their thumb.
Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
He saved them mad times, but they kept testing Him with their shady moves and got wrecked for their sins.
Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked {him} with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity. {brought...: or, impoverished, or, weakened}
But for real, He saw their struggle when He heard their cries.
Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
He remembered His promise to them and felt bad, showing love 'cause of His endless mercy.
And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
He made sure they were pitied by everyone who had them locked up.
He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.
Yo, save us, Lord our God, and pull us out from the haters, so we can shout out Your holy name and flex on Your praise.
Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, {and} to triumph in thy praise.
Big ups to the Lord God of Israel from forever to forever: let all the people say, Amen. Praise the Lord!
Blessed {be} the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD. {Praise...: Heb. Hallelujah}
