Psalms Chapter 1
Straight up, blessed is the dude who doesn't mess with the haters, kick it with the sinners, or chill with the judgy squad.
Blessed {is} the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. {ungodly: or, wicked}
Instead, he's all in on that word of the Lord; he’s reflecting on it day and night, no cap.
But his delight {is} in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
He’s like a tree set up next to the water, vibing and bearing fruit when it's time; his leaves stay fresh, and everything he does hits hard.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. {wither: Heb. fade}
The haters? Nah, they’re just like chaff getting blown away by the wind, sus.
The ungodly {are} not so: but {are} like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
So the haters ain't gonna stand in judgment, and the sinners can't vibe with the righteous crew.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
The Lord knows the path of the righteous; but the way of the haters? It’s bound to disappear, fr.
For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
