Philippians Chapter 1
So Paul and Timmy, the homies of Jesus, shoutout to all the saints in Christ at Philippi, with the crew and deacons:
Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
Sending you major grace and peace from God, our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ, no cap.
Grace {be} unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and {from} the Lord Jesus Christ.
I’m thankful to God every time I think of you, fr.
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, {remembrance: or, mention}
Always sending prayers your way with solid vibes and joy, no doubt.
Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
Since day one, it’s been lit with your squad goals in the gospel!
For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
I’m super confident that the one who kicked off this good work in you is gonna keep it rolling until Jesus comes back, periodt.
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform {it} until the day of Jesus Christ: {perform: or, finish}
I can’t help but feel this way about all of you, ‘cause you’re in my heart; even while I’m locked up, you’re still here with me in this gospel hustle.
Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace. {I have...: or, ye have me in your heart} {of my...: or, with me of grace}
God knows how much I miss you all, straight up in the feels, like Jesus vibes.
For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
I’m praying that your love just keeps expanding in knowledge and good judgment, fr.
And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and {in} all judgment; {judgment: or, sense}
So you can vibe check what’s excellent; be real and chill until the day of Christ.
That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; {approve: or, try} {are...: or, differ}
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which come through Jesus Christ, is straight-up for the glory and praise of God, no cap.
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
But yo, fam, the stuff that happened to me actually made the gospel pop off.
But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things {which happened} unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
So like, my chains in Christ are known throughout the palace and beyond, fr.
So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other {places}; {in Christ: or, for Christ} {the palace: or, Caesar's court} {in all other...: or, to all others}
And a bunch of my bros in the Lord are getting inspired by my chains, speaking the word way more boldly, no fear.
And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
Some are out here preaching Christ outta envy and drama, while others are doing it from a good spot, bet.
Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
One group is preaching Christ for the clout, not keeping it real, thinking they can make my chains worse, sus.
The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
But the other crew is all about love, knowing I’m here to defend the gospel, for real.
But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
So what’s the deal? Honestly, no matter the vibes, whether fake or real, Christ is getting preached, and I’m vibing with that, periodt.
What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
I know this is gonna lead to my salvation through your prayers and the Spirit of Jesus Christ coming through, fr.
For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
Based on my hype and hope, I ain't gonna be ashamed, but with all the boldness, just like always, Christ’s gonna be lit in my life or death.
According to my earnest expectation and {my} hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but {that} with all boldness, as always, {so} now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether {it be} by life, or by death.
For me, living is all about Christ, and dying? That's just a glow-up, fr.
For to me to live {is} Christ, and to die {is} gain.
But if I’m just vibing in the flesh, that’s my hustle; still, I’m not sure what to choose, no cap.
But if I live in the flesh, this {is} the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
I’m caught between two worlds, lowkey wanting to bounce and chill with Christ, which is way better, periodt.
For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
But honestly, sticking around in the flesh is more clutch for you all.
Nevertheless to abide in the flesh {is} more needful for you.
With this confidence, I know I’ll stick with you guys, boosting your faith and joy, it’s gonna be lit.
And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;
So that your hype can be even more lit in Jesus Christ when I roll back to you.
That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.
Just keep your vibes right and live like the gospel of Christ; whether I’m there or not, I wanna hear you’re all united, grinding together for the faith.
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
And don’t let your haters intimidate you; that’s just proof of their downfall, but for you, it’s a sign of salvation, straight from God.
And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
You’re getting the chance to rep Christ, not just to believe, but also to take some hits for Him, no cap.
For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
You’re facing the same struggles you saw in me, and now you hear I’m still in the game.
Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear {to be} in me.
