Matthew Chapter 7
Yo, don’t be judging, or you’ll end up getting judged yourself, fam.
Judge not, that ye be not judged.
The way you dish out judgment is how you're gonna get it, no cap. Whatever you measure comes right back at you.
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Why you stressing about the little speck in your buddy’s eye while ignoring the huge log in your own?
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
How you gonna say to your bro, "Let me help you with that speck," when you've got a beam in your own eye?
Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam {is} in thine own eye?
Hold up, hypocrite! First, deal with that beam in your eye, then you can help your bro with his speck.
Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
Don’t toss what’s sacred to the dogs or your pearls to swine; they’ll just stomp on it and come for you.
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
Just ask, and you’ll score what you need; seek, and you’ll discover it; knock, and the door will open, fr.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Everyone who asks scores, and if you seek, you’ll discover; knock and that door will swing wide open.
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Which one of you would hand your kid a stone if he asks for bread? That’s real sus.
Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
Or if he asks for a fish, would you give him a snake? Nah, that’s not how it goes.
Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
If y’all who are kinda sus know how to get your kids good stuff, how much more will your Dad in heaven hook up those who ask?
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
So basically, treat others how you wanna be treated, 'cause that’s the whole vibe of the law and the prophets.
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Roll through the tight gate, 'cause the wide one leads to chaos, and tons of people are going that way.
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide {is} the gate, and broad {is} the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: {strait: or, narrow}
The tight gate and narrow path lead to life, and only a few peeps find it, no cap.
Because strait {is} the gate, and narrow {is} the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. {Because: or, How}
Be on the lookout for fake prophets; they come looking all cute but are really savage wolves inside.
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
You’ll spot them by their vibes. Do folks pick grapes from thorns or figs from thistles?
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Just like every solid tree bears good fruit, a bad tree is gonna drop some trash fruit.
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree can’t drop bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t drop good fruit, periodt.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither {can} a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that doesn’t bear good fruit gets chopped down and thrown into the fire.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
So, you’ll recognize them by their vibes, for real.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Not everyone who’s like, “Lord, Lord,” is getting into heaven; only those who vibe with my Dad’s will up there.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
A lotta folks gonna say, “Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name? Cast out demons? Dope stuff?”
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Then I’ll be like, “I don’t even know you, fam; bounce if you’re out here doing shady stuff.”
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
So, whoever hears my words and actually puts them into action, I’ll call him a wise dude who built his house on a rock:
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And then the rain came down, floods rolled in, winds blew hard, but that house stood strong ‘cause it was built on a rock.
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
But anyone who hears my words and doesn’t act on them? That’s a foolish dude who built his house on sand:
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
And when the rain hit, floods came, and winds blew, that house crashed down, and it was a total fail.
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
When Jesus finished saying these things, the crowd was shook by his teaching:
And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
‘Cause he taught with mad authority, not like those scribes.
For he taught them as {one} having authority, and not as the scribes.
