Matthew Chapter 13
So on that same day, Jesus rolled out of the crib and kicked it by the beach, vibes immaculate.
The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.
A massive crowd showed up, so he hopped in a boat and took a seat; everyone else was just standing on the shore, no cap.
And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
He dropped some knowledge on them in parables, saying, "Yo, check it out, a farmer went out to throw down some seeds."
And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
Some seeds landed on the path, and birds swooped in to snatch them up, savage move.
And when he sowed, some {seeds} fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
Others hit rocky ground, where there was barely any dirt, and they sprung up fast 'cause they had no roots, fr.
Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
But when the sun came out, they got roasted; with no roots, they just dried up, periodt.
And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
Some seeds landed amidst thorns, and the thorns shot up and choked them out, sus vibes.
And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
But the rest hit solid soil and produced mad fruit—some 100 times, some 60, some 30, goated.
But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
If you got ears to hear, then listen up, fam.
Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
The disciples came up and asked him, "Why do you always drop knowledge through stories?"
And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
He replied, "Y'all are in on the secret sauce of heaven's vibes, but for them, it's a no-go."
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
Whoever's got it, gets even more lit; but if you ain't got it, the little you have is taken away, no cap.
For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
So I hit them with parables, 'cause they peep but don’t see, and they hear but don’t vibe, fr.
Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
This is where Esaias' prophecy kicks in: "You’ll hear but not understand, see but not really perceive."
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
Their hearts are all crusty, ears are sus, and they’ve shut their eyes; if they just opened up, I could heal them, periodt.
For this people's heart is waxed gross, and {their} ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with {their} eyes, and hear with {their} ears, and should understand with {their} heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
But your eyes are blessed, 'cause they see, and your ears are blessed, 'cause they hear, no doubt.
But blessed {are} your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
For real, many prophets and solid peeps were hyped to see what you see and hear what you hear, but they missed it.
For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous {men} have desired to see {those things} which ye see, and have not seen {them}; and to hear {those things} which ye hear, and have not heard {them}.
So pay attention to the sower's story, it's about to get real.
Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
When anyone hears the kingdom's word and doesn't understand it, the shady one comes and snatches what’s been planted in their heart; that's the one who got the seed on the path.
When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth {it} not, then cometh the wicked {one}, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
But the one who received the seed in rocky spots hears the word and is all hyped about it right away.
But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
But he lacks roots, so he vibes for a minute; when tough times come because of the word, he gets all sus and bounces.
Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. {offended: he relapseth, or, falleth into sin}
The one who hears the word but is choked by life's drama and the grind for cash ends up being unfruitful, no cap.
He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
But the dude who hears the word and actually gets it is the one who bears fruit, like, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth {it}; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
He hit them with another parable, saying the kingdom of heaven is like a dude who sowed good seeds in his field, fr.
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
But while the crew was snoozing, his enemy rolled through and tossed in some weeds, then jetted.
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
When the plants popped up and started to produce, the weeds showed up too, and it was a total mess.
But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
So the homies working the field asked him, "Yo, didn’t you plant good seeds? Where’d all these weeds come from?"
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
He was like, "An enemy did this." The workers were like, "You want us to pull them out?"
He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
But he was like, "Nah, if you yank the weeds, you might wreck the good stuff too."
But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Let them both grow until harvest; when it’s time, I’ll tell the reapers, "First, scoop up the weeds and burn them, then bring the wheat into my barn."
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Jesus said, "The kingdom of heaven is like a tiny mustard seed that a dude planted in his field, vibes.
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
For real, it’s the smallest seed, but when it grows, it’s the biggest herb and turns into a tree, so birds can chill in its branches. Lit.
Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
He dropped another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven a woman hid in three measures of flour until it was all lit."
Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. {measures: the word in the Greek is a measure containing about a peck and a half, wanting a little more than a pint}
Jesus was dropping all these parables to the crowd; no cap, he didn’t spill to them without a parable.
All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
This was to fulfill what the prophet said: "I’ll speak in parables and reveal secrets kept since the world began."
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
Then Jesus sent the crowd away and went inside. His crew came to him, like, "Yo, explain the parable of the tares."
Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
He was like, "The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man."
He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
The field is the world; the good seeds are the kingdom's peeps, but the tares are the chillers with the wicked ones.
The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked {one};
The one who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world, and the reapers? They’re the angels.
The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
Just like the tares get gathered and burned in fire, that's how it’s gonna go down at the end of this world, periodt.
As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
The Son of Man is gonna send his angels to scoop up all the sus stuff and those who are just plain savage;
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; {things...: or, scandals}
And they’re gonna throw 'em into a fire pit: it’s gonna be wailing and gnashing of teeth, no cap.
And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Then the righteous will shine bright like the sun in their Father’s kingdom. If you got ears, listen up, fr.
Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
The kingdom of heaven is like a hidden treasure in a field; when a dude finds it, he’s so hyped that he sells everything to grab that field.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
The kingdom of heaven is also like a merchant on the hunt for dope pearls:
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
When he finds a super valuable pearl, he sells all his stuff to buy it.
Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
The kingdom of heaven is like a net cast into the sea, catching all kinds of fish, vibes.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
When it’s full, they pull it to shore, chill for a sec, and keep the good ones but toss the bad ones.
Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
That’s how it’s gonna go down at the end of the world: angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous, periodt.
So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
And they’ll toss the wicked into the fire pit: it’s gonna be wailing and gnashing of teeth, no cap.
And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Jesus asked them, "Y'all vibing with this?" They replied, "Yea, Lord, we vibin'."
Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
Then he said, "So every scribe schooled in the kingdom of heaven is like a dude with a treasure chest, pulling out the fresh and the classic."
Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe {which is} instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man {that is} an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure {things} new and old.
And it happened that when Jesus wrapped up these stories, he bounced from there.
And it came to pass, {that} when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.
When he rolled back to his hometown, he was teaching in their synagogue, and they were shook, saying, "Where did this dude get all this wisdom and these dope moves?"
And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this {man} this wisdom, and {these} mighty works?
"Ain't this the carpenter's kid? Isn’t his mom named Mary? And what about his bros, James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?"
Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
"And what about his sisters? Aren't they all chilling with us? So how does this dude have all this?"
And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this {man} all these things?
They were lowkey offended by him. But Jesus said, "A prophet ain't got no respect except in his own hood and crib."
And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
And he couldn’t do many lit things there 'cause they were all sus about him.
And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
