Matthew Chapter 12
So, Jesus was chilling on the sabbath, cruising through the cornfields, and his crew was starving, so they started snacking on some corn.
At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.
The Pharisees spotted this and were like, "Yo, your squad is straight-up breaking the sabbath rules."
But when the Pharisees saw {it}, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
Jesus came back with, "Did you not peep what David did when he was famished, and his homies were with him?"
But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;
"He showed up at God's house and ate the shewbread, which was a no-go for him and his squad, just for the priests, no cap."
How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
"Or did you sleep on the part in the law where the priests in the temple are chilling on the sabbath and they’re still good?"
Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
"But for real, there's someone way more dope than the temple right here."
But I say unto you, That in this place is {one} greater than the temple.
"If you understood what I mean when I say I want mercy over sacrifice, you wouldn’t be hating on the innocent."
But if ye had known what {this} meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
"The Son of Man is the king of the sabbath, fr."
For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
After that, he rolled out to their synagogue.
And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:
And, plot twist, there was a guy with a withered hand. They asked him, "Is it cool to heal on the sabbath?" just trying to catch him off guard.
And, behold, there was a man which had {his} hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.
He was like, "Yo, if you have one sheep and it falls in a pit on the Sabbath, are you just gonna leave it there? Nah, you gotta pull it out, no cap."
And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift {it} out?
So, like, how is a dude worth less than a sheep? It’s totally okay to do good on the Sabbath, periodt.
How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
Then Jesus told the guy, "Stretch out your hand." Dude did it, and it was all good, just like the other one.
Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched {it} forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.
The Pharisees bounced and started plotting on how to take him down, savage moves.
Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him. {held...: or, took counsel}
But when Jesus caught wind of their plans, he dipped, and mad crowds rolled with him, and he healed everyone, fr.
But when Jesus knew {it}, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;
And he told them to keep it lowkey and not spill the beans on who he was.
And charged them that they should not make him known:
This was to fulfill what the prophet Isaiah said, no cap.
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
"Check out my homie, the one I chose; he’s my fave, and I'm all about him. I’ll put my spirit on him, and he’s gonna bring the vibes to the Gentiles."
Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
He ain't gonna be all loud or brawling; no one’s gonna hear him in the streets, sus vibes.
He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
He won’t break a bruised reed or snuff out a flickering flame until he brings victory, that’s how he rolls.
A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.
In His name, the whole squad's got trust vibes.
And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.
They brought this dude to Him who was totally messed up, blind and mute, and He healed him so hard that the blind dude was talking and seeing, no cap.
Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
Everyone was shook and said, "Aren't you the son of David? That's wild!"
And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
But the Pharisees heard that and were like, "Nah, he’s casting out demons by Beelzebub, the big demon boss."
But when the Pharisees heard {it}, they said, This {fellow} doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. {Beelzebub: Gr. Beelzebul}
Jesus caught their vibe and said, "Every kingdom that’s divided is done for; if a city or house can’t vibe together, it’s toast."
And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
If Satan’s out here casting out Satan, he’s just causing chaos; how’s his whole kingdom gonna be solid?
And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
If I’m casting out demons by Beelzebub, then who are your kids casting them out by? They’re your judges, fam.
And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast {them} out? therefore they shall be your judges.
But if I’m casting out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God just rolled up on you.
But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
Like, how can someone break into a strong man's crib and jack his stuff unless they first tie him up? Then they can take what’s his.
Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
If you’re not riding with me, you’re against me; and if you’re not gathering with me, you’re just spreading chaos.
He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
So I’m tellin’ you, all kinds of sin and shade will get forgiven, but dissing the Holy Ghost? That’s a no-go, fam.
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy {against} the {Holy} Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
If you throw shade at the Son of Man, you’ll get a pass, but dissing the Holy Ghost? Nah, that ain’t gonna fly, not now or later.
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the {world} to come.
Either make the tree good and its fruit fire, or make it sus and the fruit wack; you know a tree by its fruit, no cap.
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by {his} fruit.
Yo, snake squad, how you evil peeps gonna say good stuff? What’s in your heart spills outta your mouth, fr.
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
A good dude pulls good vibes from a good heart, while a shady dude pulls evil vibes from a sus heart.
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
But listen up, every random word you drop, you’ll have to own it on judgment day, straight up.
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
Your words are your receipts; they’ll either clear you or drag you down, periodt.
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Then some scribes and Pharisees were like, "Yo, Master, show us a sign."
Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
But he shot back, "This evil and unfaithful crew is just looking for signs; the only sign you’ll get is from the prophet Jonas."
But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
Just like Jonas was three days and nights chilling in the whale’s belly, the Son of Man will be three days and nights in the earth’s heart.
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
The dudes from Nineveh are gonna show up and call out this generation, 'cause they actually repented when Jonas preached; and, no cap, someone way greater than Jonas is here.
The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas {is} here.
The queen from the south is gonna vibe with this generation in judgment and call it out, 'cause she traveled mad far just to catch Solomon's wisdom; and, fr, someone way greater than Solomon is here.
The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon {is} here.
When the unclean spirit bails out of a dude, he roams around dry places, looking for a chill spot, but finds nada.
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Then he’s like, "I’m gonna head back to my crib where I came from," and when he shows up, it’s all empty, cleaned up, and looking fresh.
Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth {it} empty, swept, and garnished.
Then he peaces out and brings back seven other spirits even more sus than him, and they crash there: and the last state of that dude is worse than the first. This is how it’s gonna be for this savage generation.
Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last {state} of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
While he was still vibing with the people, check this out, his mom and bros were outside wanting to chat with him.
While he yet talked to the people, behold, {his} mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
Then someone said to him, "Yo, your mom and your bros are outside, wanting to holla at you."
Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
But he replied, "Who’s my mom? Who are my bros?"
But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
And he pointed to his disciples and said, "Check it, these are my mom and my bros!"
And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven, that’s my brother, sister, and mom.
For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
