Mark Chapter 5
They cruised over to the other side of the sea, landing right in Gadarenes territory.
And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
As soon as he hopped off the boat, this dude with a crazy vibe from the tombs came rushing at him.
And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
Homie was living in the tombs; no one could hold him down, not even with chains, fr.
Who had {his} dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
He had been restrained before, but he just broke free like it was nothing; no one could handle him.
Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any {man} tame him.
Always, day and night, he was out in the mountains and tombs, yelling and cutting himself with rocks, no cap.
And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
But when he peeped Jesus from a distance, he sprinted over and worshipped him, lit.
But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
He yelled loud, "What’s good, Jesus, Son of the most high God? Don’t mess with me!"
And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, {thou} Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
Jesus told him, "Get out of the dude, you unclean spirit."
For he said unto him, Come out of the man, {thou} unclean spirit.
Jesus asked him, "What’s your name?" He replied, "Legion is my name, 'cause there’s a whole crew in me."
And he asked him, What {is} thy name? And he answered, saying, My name {is} Legion: for we are many.
He was begging Jesus a ton, asking him not to send them away from the area.
And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
So there were mad pigs chilling by the mountains, just vibing and munching.
Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
All the demons were like, "Yo, send us into those pigs so we can bounce in there."
And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
Jesus was like, "Bet," and the unclean spirits jumped into the pigs, and they straight-up ran off a cliff into the sea, about two thousand of 'em, and got wrecked.
And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
The pig herders freaked out and dashed to the city and the countryside, spilling the tea on what just happened.
And they that fed the swine fled, and told {it} in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.
They came to Jesus and saw the guy who was possessed, now chilling and dressed properly, and they were shook.
And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
Those who witnessed it shared what went down with the possessed dude and the pigs.
And they that saw {it} told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and {also} concerning the swine.
They started begging him to bounce outta their area.
And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.
When he hopped in the boat, the freed guy was like, "Please let me roll with you."
And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.
But Jesus was like, "Nah fam, head back to your crew and tell them all the lit things the Lord did for you and how he showed you love."
Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
So he dipped and began spreading the word in Decapolis about all the amazing things Jesus did for him, and everyone was straight-up amazed.
And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all {men} did marvel.
Then Jesus shows up on the other side of the sea, and mad people come to vibe with him.
And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.
Jairus, a big deal at the synagogue, sees him and drops to his feet, no cap.
And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,
He’s like, “My little girl is on her last leg; please come through and lay your hands on her so she can bounce back.”
And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: {I pray thee}, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
Jesus is like, “Bet,” and a whole crowd rolls with him, all hype.
And {Jesus} went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.
And then there’s this woman who’s been dealing with a blood issue for twelve years, straight-up savage.
And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
She’s tried everything and blew all her cash, but nothing worked; it just got worse, fr.
And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
When she heard about Jesus, she slid through the crowd and touched his clothes.
When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
She thought, “If I can just touch his drip, I’ll be healed.”
For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
Immediately, her blood flow stopped, and she felt that she was healed from her struggle.
And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in {her} body that she was healed of that plague.
Jesus, sensing that some solid vibes had left him, turned around and asked, “Who just touched my drip?”
And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
The squad was like, "Yo, there's a whole crowd around you, and you wanna know who touched you? That's sus."
And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
He looked around, trying to spot the one who pulled that move.
And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
But the woman, shook and scared, knowing what went down, came and spilled all the tea in front of him.
But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
He said, "Daughter, your faith is goated; just vibe in peace and be free from your issues."
And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
While he was still talking, some peeps from the synagogue boss's crib came through, saying, "Your daughter is gone; why bother the Master anymore?"
While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's {house certain} which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
As soon as Jesus caught that, he told the synagogue ruler, "Chill, just believe, no cap."
As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
He only let Peter, James, and John roll with him, keeping it tight.
And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
He arrived at the synagogue boss's house and saw the chaos, with people crying and wailing hard.
And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
Walking in, he said, "Why all this drama? The girl ain't dead, she's just napping."
And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
They straight-up laughed at him. But he kicked them all out, took the girl's parents, and went to where she was chilling.
And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
He grabbed the girl’s hand and said, “Talitha cumi,” which means, “Yo, girl, get up.”
And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
And she popped up and walked, 'cause she was only twelve. Everyone was shook, like, “No cap, this is wild!”
And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was {of the age} of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
He told them to keep it on the low and said to get her some food, 'cause she was hungry.
And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.
