Leviticus Chapter 23
So God was like to Moses,
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Get the fam of Israel in the loop, "Ayo, here’s the lowdown on the Lord's feasts; these are the sacred meetups you need to amp up."
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, {Concerning} the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim {to be} holy convocations, {even} these {are} my feasts.
You got six days to hustle, but the seventh day? It’s all about that chill sabbath—no grind, just good vibes; it's the Lord’s day, no matter where you at.
Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day {is} the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work {therein}: it {is} the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
Here are the Lord’s feasts, the sacred gatherings you gotta announce when the moment’s right.
These {are} the feasts of the LORD, {even} holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
On the fourteenth day of the first month at sundown, it’s time for the Lord's Passover, no cap.
In the fourteenth {day} of the first month at even {is} the LORD'S passover.
Then, on the fifteenth day of the same month, it’s the feast of unleavened bread for the Lord: for a solid seven days, you gotta snack on unleavened bread, for real.
And on the fifteenth day of the same month {is} the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
On the first day? Time for a holy gathering—no work allowed, straight up.
In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
Make sure to offer a fire sacrifice to the Lord for seven days; on the seventh day, it’s another holy gathering—no work, just chill vibes.
But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day {is} an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work {therein}.
So God called up Moses again, saying,
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Tell the fam of Israel, "When you roll into the land I’m giving you and start reaping, bring a sheaf of your firstfruits to the priest."
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: {sheaf: or, handful: Heb. omer}
He’s gonna wave the sheaf before the Lord, so you get accepted, like, right after the sabbath; the priest’s got this covered.
And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
On that day, when you wave the sheaf, you gotta bring a flawless lamb as a burnt offering to the Lord, no cap.
And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.
And for the meat offering? That’s two tenths of fine flour mixed with oil, fire it up for that sweet vibe; also, a drink offering of wine, a quarter hin.
And the meat offering thereof {shall be} two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD {for} a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof {shall be} of wine, the fourth {part} of an hin.
No bread, no roasted corn, no fresh ears until the day you bring an offering to your God: that's a forever rule for your squad in all your places.
And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: {it shall be} a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
Count from the day after the sabbath, the day you bring the sheaf of the wave offering; you gotta hit seven complete sabbaths.
And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
Then, the day after the seventh sabbath, count fifty days; bring a fresh meat offering to the Lord, fr.
Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.
Bring out two wave loaves from your crib, two tenths of fine flour; they’re gonna be baked with leaven, firstfruits to the Lord, lit.
Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; {they are} the firstfruits unto the LORD.
Offer with the bread seven flawless lambs, one young bull, and two rams for a burnt offering to the Lord, with their meat and drink offerings, all fire vibes.
And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be {for} a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, {even} an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD.
Then, bring one goat kid for a sin offering, and two first-year lambs for peace offerings, that’s how we do it.
Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.
The priest’s gonna wave them with the firstfruits bread as a wave offering before the Lord, along with the two lambs; they’re sacred for the priest, straight up.
And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits {for} a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.
Ayo, on that same day, throw a holy vibe check for yourselves: no work allowed, just chill. This is a forever rule in all your spots, fr.
And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, {that} it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work {therein: it shall be} a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
When you’re harvesting your land, don’t be a grabby hands and clean out the corners. Leave some for the poor and the strangers, 'cause I’m the Lord, no cap.
And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I {am} the LORD your God.
The Lord was like to Moses, saying,
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Tell the Israelites, on the seventh month, first day, it’s a sabbath, a trumpet bash, and a holy gathering.
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first {day} of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
No grind on that day: just bring a fire offering to the Lord, periodt.
Ye shall do no servile work {therein}: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
Then the Lord said to Moses again,
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
On the tenth day of that seventh month, it’s a day for atonement: a holy gathering for you; you gotta reflect and offer a fire offering to the Lord.
Also on the tenth {day} of this seventh month {there shall be} a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
No work on that day: it’s all about atonement, to set things right before the Lord, trust.
And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it {is} a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.
If anyone doesn’t reflect on that day, they’re getting cut from the crew.
For whatsoever soul {it be} that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
And if anyone does work that day, I’m straight-up kicking them from the squad.
And whatsoever soul {it be} that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
No cap, no work allowed, fam. This is a forever rule for all your peeps in every place.
Ye shall do no manner of work: {it shall be} a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
It's your chill day, vibes only. On the ninth day of the month, from sunset to sunset, you celebrate your rest day.
It {shall be} unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth {day} of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath. {celebrate: Heb. rest}
So God hit up Moses, saying,
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Tell the crew of Israel, the fifteenth day of the seventh month is the fest of tabernacles for a whole week for the Lord.
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month {shall be} the feast of tabernacles {for} seven days unto the LORD.
First day is a holy meetup: no work, just solid vibes.
On the first day {shall be} an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work {therein}.
For seven days, bring those fire offerings to the Lord; on the eighth day, it's another holy gathering too, with even more fire offerings. Keep it solemn, no work allowed.
Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it {is} a solemn assembly; {and} ye shall do no servile work {therein}. {solemn...: Heb. day of restraint}
These are the Lord's feasts, which you gotta shout out as holy meetups, offering fire vibes like burnt offerings and drink offerings, all on the right day.
These {are} the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim {to be} holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:
Besides the Lord's chill days, your gifts, your vows, and all your freewill offerings to the Lord.
Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.
On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you’ve wrapped up your harvest, throw a feast for the Lord for seven days: first day is a rest day, and eighth day is chill too.
Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day {shall be} a sabbath, and on the eighth day {shall be} a sabbath.
On the first day, grab branches of dope trees, palm branches, and willows; then just vibe out before the Lord for seven days.
And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days. {boughs of goodly trees: Heb. fruit of, etc}
Y'all gotta vibe for seven days, throwing a feast for the Lord every year. It's a forever thing for your crew: celebrate it in the seventh month, no cap.
And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. {It shall be} a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
You guys chill in booths for seven days; all the Israelites born gotta chill in booths, fr.
Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
So your squad knows that I had the kids of Israel living in booths when I brought them outta Egypt: I’m the Lord your God, periodt.
That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I {am} the LORD your God.
And Moses told the Israelites all about the Lord’s feasts, pop off!
And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.
