Leviticus Chapter 19
So the Lord was like to Moses, saying,
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Hit up the whole crew of Israel, "Y'all need to be lit and set apart 'cause I, the Lord your God, am on that holy grind. No cap."
Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God {am} holy.
Give mad respect to your parents, and keep my sabbaths: I’m the Lord your God, fam.
Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I {am} the LORD your God.
Don’t mess with idols or whip up any solid molten gods: I’m the Lord your God, fr.
Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I {am} the LORD your God.
If you’re down to offer peace offerings to the Lord, do it on your own vibe.
And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.
Feast on it the same day you bring it, and the next day; if there’s anything left by day three, toss it in the fire, no cap.
It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.
If you munch on it on the third day, that’s hella sus; it ain’t gonna fly.
And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it {is} abominable; it shall not be accepted.
Anyone who eats it will face guilt for disrespecting the holy thing of the Lord: that person’s getting cut off from the squad.
Therefore {every one} that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
When you harvest your land, don’t fully reap the corners of your field, and skip the leftovers.
And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.
Don’t clean out your vineyard, leave some grapes for the needy and the stranger: I’m the Lord your God, periodt.
And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather {every} grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I {am} the LORD your God.
No cap, don’t steal, don’t be shady, and keep it 100 with each other.
Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
Don’t swear by my name and make it sus; I’m the Lord, keep that in mind.
And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I {am} the LORD.
Don’t shortchange your neighbor or rob them; pay your squad before you crash for the night.
Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob {him}: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.
Don’t throw shade at the deaf or trip up the blind; show respect for your God: I’m the Lord.
Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I {am} the LORD.
Keep it real in judgment; don’t play favorites, whether they’re broke or loaded.
Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: {but} in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
Don’t be a gossip in the crew; don’t stand against your neighbor’s fam: I’m the Lord.
Thou shalt not go up and down {as} a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I {am} the LORD.
No bad vibes in your heart for your bro; call them out if they’re slipping, don’t let it slide.
Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. {and...: or, that thou bear not sin for him}
Don’t hold a grudge or get revenge on your crew; love your neighbor like you love yourself: I’m the Lord.
Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I {am} the LORD.
Follow my rules, fam. Don’t mix your cattle or plant different seeds; don’t rock mixed fabrics, periodt.
Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.
If someone sleeps with a woman who’s a servant and betrothed but hasn’t been freed, they’ll face consequences; no death penalty since she ain’t free.
And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that {is} a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free. {betrothed...: or, abused by any: Heb. reproached by (or, for) man} {she shall...: or, they, etc: Heb. there shall be a scourging}
Bring that trespass offering to the Lord, like a ram at the door of the tabernacle. Vibes check.
And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, {even} a ram for a trespass offering.
The priest will make it right with that ram for your sins, and no cap, you’ll be forgiven.
And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.
When you roll into the land and plant those food trees, just know the fruit’s on pause for three years.
And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.
But in year four, all that fruit is holy, so you gotta vibe with the Lord through it. Lit!
But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the LORD {withal}. {holy...: Heb. holiness of praises to the LORD}
In year five, dig into that fruit, 'cause it’s gonna bless you. I’m the Lord, your God, fr.
And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I {am} the LORD your God.
No eating anything with blood, and don’t mess with charms or timelines. Periodt.
Ye shall not eat {any thing} with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.
Don’t be rounding the corners of your heads or fooling with your beard, fam.
Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.
No cutting your flesh for the dead or getting inked up; I’m the Lord.
Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I {am} the LORD.
Don’t sell out your daughter to be a whore, or the land's gonna be sus with wickedness.
Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness. {prostitute: Heb. profane}
Keep my sabbaths and respect my sanctuary; I’m the Lord, no cap.
Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I {am} the LORD.
Don't mess with those who vibe with spirits, or hit up wizards, 'cause that’s sus: I’m your God, no cap.
Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I {am} the LORD your God.
Always show respect to the OGs, honor the elders, and keep it real with your God: I’m the Lord.
Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I {am} the LORD.
If a stranger's chilling in your area, don’t stress them out.
And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. {vex: or, oppress}
Treat the stranger like fam, love them like yourself; remember you were outsiders in Egypt: I’m your God.
{But} the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I {am} the LORD your God.
No shady moves in judgment, measuring, or weighing stuff, keep it 100.
Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.
Keep it fair with your balances and weights, I’m the Lord your God who brought you outta Egypt.
Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I {am} the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt. {weights: Heb. stones}
So, keep all my rules and vibes, and do them: I’m the Lord.
Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I {am} the LORD.
