Leviticus Chapter 18
So the Lord was like to Moses, "Yo, pay attention."
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Tell the crew of Israel, "I’m your God, no cap."
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God.
Don’t vibe with the stuff the Egyptians did, and when you hit Canaan, don’t mimic them either. Their customs? Sus.
After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
Stick to my guidelines and keep it real: I’m the Lord your God.
Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I {am} the LORD your God.
Honor my laws and judgments; if you do, you'll live that solid life: I’m the Lord.
Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I {am} the LORD.
No one should get close to their fam to reveal their nakedness: I’m the Lord.
None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover {their} nakedness: I {am} the LORD. {near...: Heb. remainder of his flesh}
Don’t reveal your mom's nakedness; she’s your mom, straight up.
The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she {is} thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
Don’t reveal your dad’s wife’s nakedness; that’s just wild.
The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it {is} thy father's nakedness.
Avoid uncovering the nakedness of your sister, whether she’s from home or abroad; that's a hard pass.
The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, {whether she be} born at home, or born abroad, {even} their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
Don’t reveal your granddaughter’s nakedness; that’s your own nakedness too, fr.
The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, {even} their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs {is} thine own nakedness.
No cap, don’t check out your pops’ wife’s daughter, she’s your sis, keep it chill.
The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she {is} thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
Don’t even think about your dad’s sis, she’s fam, that’s sus.
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she {is} thy father's near kinswoman.
Same vibes for your mom’s sis, keep it in the fam, fr.
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister: for she {is} thy mother's near kinswoman.
Don’t mess with your dad’s bro’s wife, she’s your aunt, that’s just savage.
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she {is} thine aunt.
No peeping your daughter-in-law, she’s your son’s wifey, keep it respectful.
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she {is} thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
Don’t go after your bro’s wife, that’s just his biz, periodt.
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it {is} thy brother's nakedness.
Don’t try to hit on a woman and her daughter, or her granddaughters; that’s just wicked vibes.
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; {for} they {are} her near kinswomen: it {is} wickedness.
And don’t take a wife’s sister to mess with her life, that’s just messy.
Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex {her}, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life {time}. {a wife...: or, one wife to another}
Also, steer clear of a woman while she’s on her period, keep it classy.
Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
Lastly, don’t sleep with your neighbor’s wife, that’s a whole defilement.
Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.
No cap, don’t let your kids go through the fire for Molech, and don’t disrespect my name: I’m the Lord, fam.
And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through {the fire} to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I {am} the LORD. {Molech: Gr. Moloch}
Don’t be lying with dudes like you do with girls: that’s straight up sus.
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it {is} abomination.
Don’t be getting it on with animals, that’s just wild: no girl should be doing that either, it’s confusion, fr.
Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it {is} confusion.
Keep it clean, fam: all these vibes are why the nations got booted before you.
Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
The land is all messed up: that’s why I gotta handle the bad stuff, and the land’s gonna spit out its people.
And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
So stick to my rules and don’t do any of these whack things; not just you, but anyone rolling with you.
Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit {any} of these abominations; {neither} any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
(Because all these sus things were done by the dudes before you, and the land’s defiled, periodt.)
(For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which {were} before you, and the land is defiled;)
Don’t let the land kick you out too when you mess it up, like it did with the nations before you.
That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that {were} before you.
Anyone doing these savage things, their souls are getting cut off from the crew.
For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit {them} shall be cut off from among their people.
So keep my guidelines, don’t do any of these nasty customs from back then, and don’t defile yourselves: I’m the Lord your God.
Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that {ye} commit not {any one} of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I {am} the LORD your God.
