John Chapter 9
So as Jesus rolled through, he peeped a dude who had been blind since birth.
And as {Jesus} passed by, he saw a man which was blind from {his} birth.
His crew was like, "Yo, Master, whose fault is this? Him or his fam, that he’s blind?"
And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
Jesus was like, "Nah, neither of them did anything sus. It’s just to showcase God’s works in him."
Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
"I gotta do the work of the one who sent me while it’s still daylight; night’s coming when no one can pop off."
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
"While I’m still in the game, I’m like the light of the world, no cap."
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
After saying that, he spit on the ground, made some mud, and smeared it on the blind dude’s eyes.
When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, {anointed...: or, spread the clay upon the eyes of the blind man}
He told him, "Ayo, go wash in the pool of Siloam." The dude dipped, cleaned up, and came back seeing.
And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
The neighbors were shook and were like, "Isn’t this the dude who used to sit and beg?"
The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?
Some were like, "Yeah, that’s him," while others were like, "Nah, he just looks like him." But he was like, "I’m that dude."
Some said, This is he: others {said}, He is like him: {but} he said, I am {he}.
Then they asked him, "How did you get your sight back?"
Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened?
He responded, "Some guy named Jesus made mud, put it on my eyes, and told me to check out the Siloam pool to wash. I did, and now I can see, no cap."
He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.
They asked him, "Where’s this guy at?" He was like, "IDK."
Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not.
They brought the blind dude to the Pharisees.
They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.
It was the Sabbath when Jesus made that mud and opened his eyes, savage move.
And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
The Pharisees quizzed him again on how he could see. He said, "He put mud on my eyes, I washed, and now I see."
Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.
Some Pharisees were like, "This dude can’t be from God; he’s not vibing with the Sabbath." Others were like, "No sinner could pull off those miracles." So they were lowkey divided.
Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
They asked the blind man again, "What do you think about him opening your eyes?" He said, "He’s a prophet, fr."
They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.
But the Jews weren’t buying it; they didn’t believe he was blind until they called his parents.
But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.
They asked the parents, "Is this your son, the one you said was born blind? How’s he seeing now?"
And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?
His parents replied, "Yeah, this is our son, and he was definitely born blind."
His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:
We don’t even know how he sees now or who hooked him up with sight; he’s grown, so just ask him; he can speak for himself, no cap.
But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.
His parents said this 'cause they were shook by the Jews: they already agreed that if anyone said he was the Christ, they’d be kicked out of the squad.
These {words} spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
So his parents were like, "He’s grown, just ask him."
Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.
They called the blind dude again and told him to give props to God: we know this guy's a sinner, fr.
Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
He was like, "I don’t know if he’s a sinner or not, but one thing’s for sure: I was blind, and now I see, periodt."
He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner {or no}, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.
They interrogated him again, "What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?"
Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?
He said, "I already told y’all, and you didn’t listen: why do you wanna hear it again? You tryna be his fans too?"
He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear {it} again? will ye also be his disciples?
Then they came at him, saying, "You’re his disciple; we’re Moses’ crew."
Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses' disciples.
We know God chatted with Moses, but this dude? We got no clue where he’s from.
We know that God spake unto Moses: {as for} this {fellow}, we know not from whence he is.
The man was like, "This is wild; you don’t know where he’s from, but he opened my eyes? That’s lit!"
The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and {yet} he hath opened mine eyes.
So like, God doesn’t vibe with sinners, but if you’re out here worshipping and doing His will, He’s got your back, no cap.
Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
Since day one, nobody’s ever seen someone open the eyes of a blind dude, fr.
Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.
If this guy wasn’t from God, he’d be flopping hard, periodt.
If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.
They clapped back, saying, "You were born in sin, who are you to teach us?" And they kicked him out, savage.
They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out. {cast...: or, excommunicated him}
Jesus peeped that they kicked him out, found him, and asked, "Do you believe in the Son of God?"
Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
He was like, "Who’s that, Lord? I need to know so I can believe."
He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?
Jesus replied, "You’ve seen Him, and it’s me who’s chatting with you."
And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
The dude said, "Lord, I believe," and he worshipped Him, lit.
And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.
Jesus said, "I’m here to judge; those who can’t see will see, and those who see will go blind, no cap."
And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
Some Pharisees heard this and were like, "Are we blind too?"
And {some} of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
Jesus was like, "If y'all were blind, no cap, you wouldn't be trippin'. But now you say you see; so your vibes are still sus."
Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
