John Chapter 3
So there was this guy named Nicodemus from the Pharisees, a total boss among the Jews, no cap.
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
He came to Jesus at night, like, "Rabbi, we know you’re a teacher sent from God, 'cause no one’s pulling off these miracles unless God’s backing them up."
The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
Jesus hit him with, "For real, you gotta be born again to peep the kingdom of God."
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. {again: or, from above}
Nicodemus was like, "How can an old dude get born again? Can he just slide back into his mom’s womb?"
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jesus responded, "No cap, you gotta be born of water and the Spirit to enter the kingdom of God."
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and {of} the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
What’s born of the flesh is just flesh; what’s born of the Spirit is straight-up spirit, periodt.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Don’t be confused that I said you gotta be born again.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. {again: or, from above}
The wind moves wherever it wants; you can hear it but can't see where it’s coming from or going; that’s how it is for everyone born of the Spirit.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Nicodemus was like, "How is this even a thing?"
Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
Jesus replied, "You’re a teacher of Israel and don’t get this? That’s kinda sus."
Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
For real, we’re dropping truth here, but y’all just aren’t vibing with our message.
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
If I’m talking about earthly stuff and you’re not vibing, how you gonna handle heavenly truths?
If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you {of} heavenly things?
No one’s been up to heaven except the one who came down from there, the Son of Man, who’s still up there chilling.
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, {even} the Son of man which is in heaven.
Just like Moses lifted that serpent in the desert, the Son of Man's gonna be lifted up too, no cap.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
So anyone who believes in him won’t fade away but will have that eternal life, periodt.
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
God loved the world so much that he sent his only Son, so whoever believes in him won’t perish, but will have that forever life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God didn’t send his Son to roast the world; he sent him so the world could get saved, fr.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Whoever believes in him isn’t getting judged, but if you don’t believe, you’re already sus because you’re not repping the name of God’s only Son.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Here’s the tea: light came into the world, but people were like, “Nah, we vibe with the darkness,” 'cause their actions were shady.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Everyone doing evil is low-key dodging the light and staying away from it so their actions don’t get exposed.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. {reproved: or, discovered}
But if you keep it 100, you’ll vibe with the light, showing off your good deeds, all God-approved.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Then Jesus and his crew rolled up to Judea, chilling and baptizing.
After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
John was out here baptizing in Ænon near Salim 'cause there was mad water, so folks came through to get baptized.
And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
Just so you know, John wasn’t locked up yet.
For John was not yet cast into prison.
A question came up between some of John’s boys and the Jews about cleansing vibes.
Then there arose a question between {some} of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.
They approached John, like, "Yo, that dude you were with by the Jordan, the one you hyped? He's baptizing now, and everyone’s rolling to him."
And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all {men} come to him.
John responded, "No cap, a dude can’t get anything unless it’s given from heaven."
John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. {receive: or, take unto himself}
You guys know I’ve said, "I’m not the Christ, just the hype man before him."
Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.
The dude with the bride is the bridegroom; the friend who hears him is just vibing hard, and my joy is full because of him.
He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
He’s gotta shine, while I gotta chill out.
He must increase, but I {must} decrease.
The dude from above is on top of everything: the earth peeps are just earthly and talking basic, but the one from heaven is straight up goated.
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
He’s seen and heard some next-level stuff, but no one’s vibing with his testimony.
And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
If you’re receiving his testimony, you’re lowkey confirming that God is true, no cap.
He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
The one God sent is spitting straight fire from God; he doesn’t hold back the Spirit at all.
For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure {unto him}.
The Father’s all about the Son and has given him everything, periodt.
The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
Whoever believes in the Son is living that eternal life; but if you’re not vibing with the Son, you’re missing out on life, and God’s wrath is chillin’ on you.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
