John Chapter 2
On the third day, a wedding went down in Cana, and Jesus' mom was totally vibin' there.
And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
Jesus and his homies got the invite to the wedding, no cap.
And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
When they ran outta wine, Jesus' mom was like, "Yo, they ain't got no wine."
And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
Jesus was like, "Chill, fam. My time hasn't hit yet."
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
His mom told the servants, "Whatever he tells you, just do it. Periodt."
His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do {it}.
There were six stone waterpots there for the Jewish cleansing rituals, holding mad water, fr.
And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
Jesus told them, "Fill those waterpots up with water," and they filled 'em right to the brim.
Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
Then he was like, "Draw some out and take it to the party host." They followed through.
And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare {it}.
When the party host tasted the water that turned into wine, he had no clue where it came from; only the servants were in the know. He called the groom over.
When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
He said, "Yo, usually they serve the good wine first, then the cheap stuff, but you saved the best for last. That's fire."
And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: {but} thou hast kept the good wine until now.
This was the first miracle that Jesus pulled off in Cana, flexing his glory; his crew started to believe in him.
This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
After that, he rolled down to Capernaum with his mom, bros, and disciples, and they stayed there for a minute.
After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.
With the Jews' Passover coming up, Jesus headed up to Jerusalem, vibes.
And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
He spotted folks selling oxen, sheep, and doves in the temple, plus money changers just hanging out.
And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
Jesus crafted a whip outta cords and booted them all outta the temple, flipping tables and scattering cash like a boss.
And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
He told the dove sellers, "Get these outta here; don’t turn my dad's crib into a mall."
And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
His disciples remembered it was written, "The zeal for your house has consumed me."
And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
The Jews were like, "What sign you got for us since you're doing all this?"
Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
Jesus shot back, "Tear down this temple, and in three days, I'll raise it up."
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
They were like, "It took 46 years to build this temple, and you think you can bring it back in three days? That’s sus."
Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
But he was referring to the temple of his body, no cap.
But he spake of the temple of his body.
After he bounced back from the dead, his crew remembered what he said and believed the scriptures and his words.
When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
While he was in Jerusalem for Passover, a ton of people believed in him after peeping the miracles he did.
Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast {day}, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
However, Jesus wasn't about to trust them, 'cause he knew everyone, fr.
But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all {men},
He didn't need anyone to spill the tea on people, 'cause he knew what was in their hearts.
And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
