John Chapter 13
So like, right before the Passover bash, Jesus knew it was time to bounce from this world and chill with the Father, loving his crew to the very end.
Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
Dinner wrapped up, and the devil lowkey slid into Judas' heart to pull a fast one on him; classic backstab vibes.
And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's {son}, to betray him;
Jesus was aware that the Father had given him all the power, and he came from God, then dipped back to God.
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;
He stood up from the table, took off his drip, and grabbed a towel to show off.
He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.
Then he filled a basin with water and started washing the disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel he had on.
After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe {them} with the towel wherewith he was girded.
He rolled over to Simon Peter, and Peter was like, "Yo, are you really gonna wash my feet?"
Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? {Peter saith: Gr. he saith}
Jesus shot back, "You don’t understand it now, but you’re gonna get it later, fr."
Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.
Peter was like, "Nah, you can’t wash my feet, ever." Jesus responded, "If I don’t wash you, we ain’t vibing together."
Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.
Simon Peter was like, "Aight, not just my feet, but my hands and head too!"
Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also {my} hands and {my} head.
Jesus said, "If you’re already clean, you just need your feet washed. You’re good, but not everyone here is."
Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash {his} feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.
He knew who was gonna pull a fast one on him; so he said, "Not all of you are clean, no cap."
For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.
After he washed their feet and got back in his drip, he was like, "Y’all know what I just did?"
So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
You call me Master and Lord, and that’s facts; ‘cause I really am.
Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for {so} I am.
If I, your Lord and Master, washed your feet, then you gotta wash each other's feet too, fr.
If I then, {your} Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
I gave you a vibe check, so you should do what I did.
For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
For real, for real, I’m telling you, the servant ain’t greater than the boss; and the one sent ain’t greater than the sender.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
If you know these things, you’re blessed when you actually do them, periodt.
If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
I ain't talking about all y’all; I know who I picked, but to keep it 100, the scripture's gotta hit: the one eating bread with me is gonna turn on me.
I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
I’m telling you this before it goes down, so when it happens, you can believe it’s me.
Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am {he}. {Now: or, From henceforth}
For real, for real, I’m saying, whoever gets the ones I send is getting me; and whoever gets me gets the one who sent me.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
Jesus was feeling some type of way and said, "No cap, one of y’all is about to betray me."
When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
The disciples were looking at each other like, "Wait, who’s he throwing shade at?"
Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake.
One of his homies, the one Jesus vibed with, was chilling close to him.
Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.
Simon Peter was like, "Yo, ask him who it is."
Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake.
The dude leaning on Jesus asked, "Lord, who’s the snitch?"
He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?
Jesus said, "It’s the one I give this bread to." He dipped the bread and passed it to Judas Iscariot, Simon's son.
Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped {it}. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave {it} to Judas Iscariot, {the son} of Simon. {sop: or, morsel}
Right after that, Satan jumped in him, and Jesus told him, "Whatever you’re gonna do, do it fast."
And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
Nobody at the table got what Jesus was talking about.
Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.
Some thought, since Judas had the cash, Jesus was telling him to buy stuff for the feast or help the poor.
For some {of them} thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy {those things} that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.
Judas took the bread and bounced out quick: and it was night.
He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.
So when he dipped, Jesus was like, "Now the Son of Man is all lit, and God’s getting that glory too."
Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
If God’s flexin’ through him, He’s gonna flex on him as well, and it’s about to go down real quick.
If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.
Yo fam, I’m only here for a minute longer. You’re gonna look for me, but like I told the Jews, where I’m going, you can’t roll with me yet.
Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.
I’m dropping a new rule for y’all: love each other, just like I’ve loved you. Periodt.
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
This is how everyone’s gonna know you’re my crew: if you show love to each other, no cap.
By this shall all {men} know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Simon Peter was like, "Yo, where you going, Lord?" Jesus said, "You can’t follow me now, but you’ll catch up later."
Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.
Peter was like, "Why can’t I roll with you now? I’d totally lay down my life for you."
Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.
Jesus replied, "You think you’d lay down your life for me? For real, the rooster ain’t gonna crow until you deny me three times."
Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.
