John Chapter 14
Yo, keep your heart chill, squad: if you vibe with God, you gotta vibe with me too.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my pops’ pad, there’s mad rooms: if it wasn’t real, I’d keep it 100 with you. I'm out here getting a spot ready for you.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if {it were} not {so}, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
So if I dip to prep your place, I’ll swing back to pick you up; where I am, you’ll be, no cap.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, {there} ye may be also.
You already know my destination, and you know the way there.
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
Thomas chimes in, “Yo, Lord, we don’t know where you’re headed; how we supposed to know the route?”
Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
Jesus comes back with, “I’m the way, the truth, and the life: no one rolls up to the Father except through me, periodt.”
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
If you truly knew me, you’d know my pops too: starting now, you know him and have laid eyes on him, fr.
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Philip’s all, “Lord, just give us the Father, and that’s all we need.”
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Jesus responds, “Have I been chilling with you forever, Philip, and you still don’t know me? If you’ve peeped me, you’ve peeped the Father; why you asking to see him?”
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou {then}, Shew us the Father?
You don’t believe I’m in the Father and the Father’s in me? The words I drop aren’t just mine; it’s the Father in me doing the work, fam.
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Trust that I’m in the Father and He’s in me; if you don’t vibe with that, just check the works I’m doing, they’re lit.
Believe me that I {am} in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
For real, I’m telling you, if you believe in me, you’ll do the same works I do, and even crazier ones, 'cause I’m heading back to my pops.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater {works} than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Whatever you ask in my name, I got you; it’s all about hyping up the Father through the Son, periodt.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you ask anything in my name, I’ll make it go down, no cap.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do {it}.
If you really love me, keep my commands, that's the vibe.
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
I’ll hit up the Father, and He’ll send you another Comforter to chill with you forever, fr.
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
It’s the Spirit of truth; the world can’t catch the vibe 'cause they don’t see or know Him, but you know Him, 'cause He’s with you and will be in you.
{Even} the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
I won’t leave you hanging; I’m coming back to you.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. {comfortless: or, orphans}
Just a little longer, and the world won’t see me anymore, but you will, 'cause I’m alive, and you’ll be alive too, no cap.
Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
On that day, you’ll know I’m in my pops, you’re in me, and I’m in you; that’s the whole squad.
At that day ye shall know that I {am} in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
If you vibe with my commandments and keep them, you’re the real one who loves me: my pops is gonna love you back, and I’ll show up for you, fr.
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Judas, not Iscariot, was like, "Yo, Lord, how come you’re gonna show yourself to us but not to everyone else?"
Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
Jesus was like, "If someone loves me, they’ll keep my words: my pops will love them too, and we’ll roll up and chill with them."
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
If you don’t love me, you’re not keeping my sayings: what you hear isn’t mine, it’s from the Father who sent me, no cap.
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
I’ve dropped these truths on you while I’m still here with you, periodt.
These things have I spoken unto you, being {yet} present with you.
But the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, who the pops is sending in my name, he’s gonna teach you everything and remind you of what I’ve said, no doubt.
But the Comforter, {which is} the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
I’m leaving you with my peace, giving you that solid vibe: not like the world gives, so don’t let your heart be troubled or scared, fr.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
You heard me say I’m bouncing, but I’ll be back. If you really loved me, you’d be hyped, ‘cause I’m going to the pops, who’s way greater than me.
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come {again} unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
I’ve told you this before it goes down, so when it happens, you’ll believe, bet.
And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
From now on, I won’t be chatting much with you: the prince of this world is coming, and he’s got nothing on me, straight up.
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
Just wanna flex that I vibe with the pops; and since He gave me the mission, I'm gonna pop off. Let’s bounce, fr.
But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
