Job Chapter 33
Yo, Job, peep this, I need you to catch my vibe and feel what I’m saying.
Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.
Ayo, just opened my mouth, and my tongue's spilling the juice.
Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth. {in my mouth: Heb. in my palate}
These words come straight from my soul, and I’m ready to drop some gems, no cap.
My words {shall be of} the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
The Spirit of God crafted me, and the breath of the Almighty gave me life, for real.
The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
If you got some answers, line up your thoughts and let it out, stand tall.
If thou canst answer me, set {thy words} in order before me, stand up.
Bet, I’m here for you like God would be; I’m made from the same dirt, no lie.
Behold, I {am} according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay. {wish: Heb. mouth} {formed: Heb. cut}
No stress, my vibe won’t freak you out, and my hand ain’t weighing you down, chill.
Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.
For real, I heard you loud and clear; I caught your words saying,
Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of {thy} words, {saying}, {hearing: Heb. ears}
I’m clean, no issues here; I’m innocent, no sus vibes from me.
I am clean without transgression, I {am} innocent; neither {is there} iniquity in me.
Check it, he’s hunting for reasons to come at me, treating me like his enemy, savage.
Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
He’s got my steps all locked down, tracking every move I make.
He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.
Yo, that’s not chill: I’ll spill the tea, God’s way bigger than our problems.
Behold, {in} this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.
Why you beefing with Him? He doesn’t owe us any answers, for real.
Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters. {he giveth...: Heb. he answereth not}
God talks once, maybe twice, but we’re not catching the signals.
For God speaketh once, yea twice, {yet man} perceiveth it not.
In a dream, late at night when we’re knocked out, chilling in bed;
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
Then He opens our ears and hits us with some wisdom.
Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, {he...: Heb. he revealeth, or, uncovereth}
He pulls us from our plans and keeps our pride in check.
That he may withdraw man {from his} purpose, and hide pride from man. {purpose: Heb. work}
He saves our soul from the dark and keeps us from taking a dive.
He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword. {from perishing: Heb. from passing}
He’s also feeling that pain in bed, bones hurting like mad:
He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong {pain}:
So much that he can’t even vibe with food, and he’s not into fancy meals.
So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat. {dainty...: Heb. meat of desire}
His skin is all gone, can’t even see it; bones are popping out, lowkey sus.
His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones {that} were not seen stick out.
For real, his soul's chilling close to the grave, life’s on the edge, no cap.
Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.
If there’s a messenger with him, like a guide, one in a thousand, showing him what’s up:
If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
Then he’s like, "I got your back," and says, "Save him from the pit, I've found a way out."
Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom. {a ransom: or, an atonement}
His flesh’s gonna be fresher than a young’un’s: he’s gonna feel brand new, fr.
His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth: {a child's: Heb. childhood}
He’s gonna pray to God, and God’s gonna say, "You fire," and he’ll see His face with joy, 'cause God’s gonna hook him up with goodness.
He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
He’s checking out folks, and if anyone’s like, "I messed up, did wrong, and it didn’t help me,"
He looketh upon men, and {if any} say, I have sinned, and perverted {that which was} right, and it profited me not; {He...: or, He shall look upon men, and say}
He’ll save his soul from the pit, and his life’s gonna see the light, straight up.
He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light. {He...: or, He hath delivered my soul, etc, and my life}
For real, God’s always grinding with people,
Lo, all these {things} worketh God oftentimes with man, {oftentimes: Heb. twice and thrice}
To bring back his soul from the pit, to light it up with the vibes of the living.
To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.
Yo, Job, listen up! Chill for a sec, and I’ll drop some knowledge.
Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.
Got something to say? Spit it out: I’m here to support you, no cap.
If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.
If not, just vibe with me: stay quiet, and I’ll school you on wisdom.
If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.
