Job Chapter 13
Ayo, I’ve peeped all this, and I totally understand it, no cap.
Lo, mine eye hath seen all {this}, mine ear hath heard and understood it.
What you got, I got too: I’m not beneath you, fr.
What ye know, {the same} do I know also: I {am} not inferior unto you.
For real, I wanna vibe with the Almighty and reason with God.
Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.
But y’all are just spreading falsehoods, all cap, not even coming through.
But ye {are} forgers of lies, ye {are} all physicians of no value.
Man, if you all just kept it low-key, that would be smart, periodt.
O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.
Tune in to my thoughts, and vibe with what I’m spitting.
Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.
Are you really about to throw shade for God? That’s sus.
Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?
Are you gonna play favorites? Like, are you even down for God?
Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
Is it chill for Him to peep you? Or are you just roasting Him like the rest?
Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye {so} mock him?
He’s gonna call you out if you’re secretly playing favorites.
He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.
Why you gotta be sus? His vibe's supposed to make you shook, no cap.
Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you?
Your memories are like ashes, and you’re just dust in the breeze, fr.
Your remembrances {are} like unto ashes, your bodies to bodies of clay.
Chill out, let me vibe solo so I can speak, whatever comes at me, comes.
Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what {will}. {Hold...: Heb. Be silent from me}
Why I gotta bite my own flesh and risk it all, though?
Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?
Even if He takes me out, I’m still gonna trust Him; I’ll keep it real with Him.
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. {maintain: Heb. prove, or, argue}
He’s my ride or die; fake peeps can’t roll up on Him.
He also {shall be} my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
Listen up, fam, really hear me out.
Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears.
Check it, I got my case all set; I know I’ll be in the clear.
Behold now, I have ordered {my} cause; I know that I shall be justified.
Who’s gonna step up and debate with me? If I keep quiet, it’s game over.
Who {is} he {that} will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.
Just don’t hit me with two things: then I won’t ghost you, periodt.
Only do not two {things} unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee.
Pull your hand back, fam, and don’t let your vibes scare me, no cap.
Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid.
Just hit me up, and I’ll respond: or let me chat, and you can hit me back.
Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me.
How many of my slip-ups and sins are there? Help me figure out my wrongs, fr.
How many {are} mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin.
Why you hiding your face, treating me like I’m the enemy? That’s sus.
Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy?
You gonna crush a leaf that’s just chilling? You really chasing dry grass?
Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?
You’re writing all these savage things about me, making me own my past mistakes.
For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.
You got my feet all locked down, watching my every step; you’ve left a mark on my moves.
Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, and lookest narrowly unto all my paths; thou settest a print upon the heels of my feet. {lookest...: Heb. observest} {heels: Heb. roots}
And he’s like a decaying thing, just fading away, like a fit that’s all moth-eaten.
And he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment that is moth eaten.
