Isaiah Chapter 62
For Zion’s sake, I ain’t gonna chill, and for Jerusalem’s sake, I won’t catch a break till the vibes are lit and the salvation shines like a beacon.
For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp {that} burneth.
The nations are gonna peep your glow, and all the kings will notice your transformation: you’ll snag a new name right from the Lord’s lips.
And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
You’ll be a dope crown of glory in the Lord’s grasp, and a royal flex in the presence of your God.
Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
No more calling you Forsaken; your land ain’t gonna be Desolate anymore: you’ll be Hephzi–bah, and your land’s Beulah, ‘cause the Lord’s got crazy love for you, and your land’s about to be blessed up.
Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. {Hephzibah: that is, My delight is in her} {Beulah: that is, Married}
Just like a young dude ties the knot with his girl, your sons are gonna marry you: and like a groom vibing over his bride, your God’s gonna be all hyped about you.
For {as} a young man marrieth a virgin, {so} shall thy sons marry thee: and {as} the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, {so} shall thy God rejoice over thee. {as the...: Heb. with the joy of the bridegroom}
I got watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem, who won’t stop hustling day or night: you who mention the Lord, don’t go silent,
I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, {which} shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, {make...: or, are the LORD's remembrancers}
And give Him no rest, till He sets things straight, and makes Jerusalem the ultimate praise on earth.
And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. {rest: Heb. silence}
The Lord’s flexing with His right hand and strong arm, stating, “No cap, I’m not letting your harvest feed your enemies anymore; the outsiders ain’t sipping your wine that you toiled for.”
The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn {to be} meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured: {Surely...: Heb. If I give, etc}
But those who gathered it will munch and give props to the Lord; and those who reaped it will enjoy it in my sacred courts.
But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
Roll out, roll out through the gates; make way for the people; lift up, lift up the highway; clear the rocks; raise a banner for the people.
Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
Yo, the Lord’s calling out to the corners of the earth, “Tell the daughter of Zion, your salvation’s on the way; His reward’s with Him, and His work’s coming.”
Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward {is} with him, and his work before him. {work: or, recompence}
They’ll be known as The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and you’ll be known as Sought out, A city not forsaken.
And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
