Isaiah Chapter 54
Ayo, all you folks who can’t have kids, it’s time to vibe and sing your heart out! You’re about to have more children than the wives, no cap, says the Lord.
Sing, O barren, thou {that} didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou {that} didst not travail with child: for more {are} the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
Broaden your tent, squad! Stretch those curtains, don't hold back, extend those cords, and set those stakes strong; it’s gonna be fire.
Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
You’re about to blow up on both ends; your fam will take over the nations and fill in all the gaps, fr.
For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
No stress, you won’t feel humiliated; forget the shady stuff from before, it’s a whole new vibe, periodt.
Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
Your Maker is your partner; the Lord of armies is his title, and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, straight fire for sure.
For thy Maker {is} thine husband; the LORD of hosts {is} his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. {Maker: Heb. Makers}
The Lord reached out to you like someone who’s been left behind, but He’s got your back, believe that, says your God.
For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
I kinda dipped for a bit, but I’m rolling back in with major love, no cap.
For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
I turned my gaze for a hot minute, but I’m bringing back the good vibes with everlasting kindness, says the Lord, your Redeemer.
In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.
This reminds me of the flood with Noah: I promised those waters wouldn’t flood again, and I swear I won’t be angry at you, bet.
For this {is as} the waters of Noah unto me: for {as} I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
Even if the mountains shake and the hills shift, my kindness won't ditch you, and my peace is sticking around, says the Lord who has mercy on you.
For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
Yo, you who’ve been through the struggles, I’ll glam up your stones with sick colors and lay a solid base with sapphires.
O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, {and} not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
I’ll set you up with agate windows, gates made of carbuncles, and borders made of all the cool stones, it’s gonna be fire.
And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.
Your kids will be taught by the Lord, and they’ll have serious peace, no cap.
And all thy children {shall be} taught of the LORD; and great {shall be} the peace of thy children.
You’ll be established in righteousness, far from all that drama; no fear here, and danger won’t creep up on you, fr.
In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
People might gather against you, but not on my watch; anyone who tries to come at you will stumble, trust.
Behold, they shall surely gather together, {but} not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
I crafted the blacksmith who works the fire and shapes the tools; I also created the destroyer, just so you know.
Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
No weapon formed against you will succeed; every tongue that tries to judge you will be silenced. This is the inheritance of the Lord's servants, and their righteousness comes from me, says the Lord.
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue {that} shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This {is} the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness {is} of me, saith the LORD.
