Isaiah Chapter 41
Ayo, islands, chill for a moment; let the crew recharge their vibes: step up and speak out, let’s sort this out together.
Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew {their} strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.
Who’s the one that hyped up the righteous homie from the east, called him in, made nations bow down, and let him flex on kings? He treated them like dust for his blade, no cap.
Who raised up the righteous {man} from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made {him} rule over kings? he gave {them} as the dust to his sword, {and} as driven stubble to his bow. {the righteous...: Heb. righteousness}
He chased them down and cruised through safely; even took paths he hadn’t rolled on before.
He pursued them, {and} passed safely; {even} by the way {that} he had not gone with his feet. {safely: Heb. in peace}
Who’s behind all this, calling the generations since day one? It’s me, the Lord, the real OG, and the last; that’s just facts.
Who hath wrought and done {it}, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I {am} he.
The islands peeped it and got shook; the ends of the earth were like, “Nah,” and came closer.
The isles saw {it}, and feared; the ends of the earth were afraid, drew near, and came.
They all had each other's backs; everyone was like, “Stay strong, fam.”
They helped every one his neighbour; and {every one} said to his brother, Be of good courage. {Be...: Heb. Be strong}
So the woodworker gassed up the goldsmith, and the hammer dude hyped the anvil guy, saying, “We’re ready to vibe; let’s lock this down.”
So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, {and} he that smootheth {with} the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It {is} ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, {that} it should not be moved. {goldsmith: or, founder} {him...: or, the smiting} {saying...: or, saying of the soder, It is good}
But you, Israel, are my ride or die, Jacob, my chosen one, the real one from Abraham, my homie.
But thou, Israel, {art} my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
I scooped you from the ends of the earth, called you out from the top dogs, and said, “You’re my servant; I chose you, no ghosting.”
{Thou} whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou {art} my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
Don’t sweat it; I got your back: don’t be shook, ‘cause I’m your God: I’ll pump you up; for real, I’ll help you; I’ll hold you up with my solid right hand.
Fear thou not; for I {am} with thee: be not dismayed; for I {am} thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Bet, all the haters coming for you will be shook and confused; they’ll be like, “Who even?” and those who beef with you will just disappear.
Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. {they that strive...: Heb. the men of thy strife}
You’ll look for them and find nada, even those who were tripping’ with you: they’ll be like, whatever, no cap.
Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, {even} them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. {them that...: Heb. the men of thy contention} {they...: Heb. the men of thy war}
For I, the Lord your God, got your back, holding your right hand, saying, “Chill, I got you.”
For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
Don’t stress, little worm Jacob and the crew of Israel; I’m here to help, says the Lord, your savior, the Holy One of Israel.
Fear not, thou worm Jacob, {and} ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. {men: or, few men}
Check it, I’m giving you a new, sharp tool that’s lit; you’ll crush mountains and make them tiny, like dust.
Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat {them} small, and shalt make the hills as chaff. {teeth: Heb. mouths}
You’ll blow them away, and the wind will carry them off; you’ll vibe in the Lord and flex in the Holy One of Israel.
Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, {and} shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.
When the broke and thirsty are looking for water and can’t find any, I, the Lord, will hear them; the God of Israel won’t ghost them.
{When} the poor and needy seek water, and {there is} none, {and} their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
I’ll open rivers in high spots and fountains in the valleys; I’ll turn the wild into a chill pool and the dry land into springs.
I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
I’ll plant cedar, shittah trees, myrtle, and oil trees in the wild; I’ll drop fir, pine, and box trees in the desert.
I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, {and} the pine, and the box tree together:
So they can see, know, and get it together, that the Lord’s hand made this happen, and the Holy One of Israel created it.
That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.
Drop your reasons, says the Lord; show us your best arguments, says the King of Jacob.
Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong {reasons}, saith the King of Jacob. {Produce: Heb. Cause to come near}
Let them bring it, and show us what’s about to pop off: let’s see the past vibes so we can get the future tea.
Let them bring {them} forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they {be}, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come. {consider...: Heb. set our heart upon them}
Show us what’s coming next, so we know you’re the real deal: do good or do bad, just let us see it all together.
Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye {are} gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold {it} together.
Look, you’re basically nothing, and your work is sus: it's a whole mess if you choose that path.
Behold, ye {are} of nothing, and your work of nought: an abomination {is he that} chooseth you. {of nothing: or, worse than nothing} {of nought: or, worse than of a viper}
I’ve got someone rolling in from the north, and he’s gonna call on my name: he’ll come through like a boss, just like a potter shaping clay.
I have raised up {one} from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as {upon} morter, and as the potter treadeth clay.
Who’s called it from the start, so we can know? And who’s been right before, so we can say he’s goated? No one’s stepping up with the answers.
Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, {He is} righteous? yea, {there is} none that sheweth, yea, {there is} none that declareth, yea, {there is} none that heareth your words.
The first will hit up Zion, saying, “Look at them!” and I’ll send good vibes to Jerusalem with someone bringing the good news.
The first {shall say} to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings.
I looked around, and no one was there; not a single advisor could drop a word when I asked.
For I beheld, and {there was} no man; even among them, and {there was} no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word. {answer: Heb. return}
Check it, they’re all just empty vibes; their work is nothing: their fake stuff is just confusion and noise.
Behold, they {are} all vanity; their works {are} nothing: their molten images {are} wind and confusion.
