Hebrews Chapter 13
Keep that sibling love thriving, fam.
Let brotherly love continue.
Don’t snooze on showing love to outsiders, 'cause you might just be hosting angels on the low.
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Think about those locked up and struggling, like you’re right there with them, fr.
Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; {and} them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
Marriage is dope, and keep that bed tidy; God ain’t messing around with the players, periodt.
Marriage {is} honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
Keep your chats chill, don’t be greedy; be thankful for your blessings, 'cause God said He's got your back, no cap.
{Let your} conversation {be} without covetousness; {and be} content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
So we can flex and say, "The Lord’s my homie, and I ain’t worried about what anyone throws at me."
So that we may boldly say, The Lord {is} my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Don’t forget about your leaders who dropped the word of God on you; follow their faith and check how they wrapped things up.
Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of {their} conversation. {have the rule: or, are the guides}
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, no doubt.
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Don’t trip on those sus teachings; it’s better for your heart to vibe with grace, not just food that doesn’t do much.
Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For {it is} a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
We got an altar that those serving the tabernacle can’t munch from, no cap.
We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
The carcasses of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest for sin are burnt outside the camp.
For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
So Jesus, to make the people holy with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
Let’s roll out to Him outside the camp, ready to face the hate.
Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
We don’t have a permanent crib here, but we’re searching for the next big thing.
For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
Through Him, let’s keep throwing mad praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips thanking His name.
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of {our} lips giving thanks to his name. {giving...: Gr. confessing to}
Don’t forget to spread goodness and share; God’s vibing with those sacrifices.
But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Listen up to your leaders and submit, 'cause they’re looking out for your souls and gotta give an account; let them do it with joy, not stress, that ain’t good for you.
Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that {is} unprofitable for you. {have...: or, guide}
Pray for us; we’ve got a clean conscience, ready to keep it real in everything.
Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
I’m seriously asking you to do this so I can get back to you quicker, fr.
But I beseech {you} the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
Now the God of peace, who brought Jesus back from the dead, our ultimate shepherd, through the blood of the everlasting promise,
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, {covenant: or, testament}
Make you solid in every good vibe to do His will, working in you what’s fire in His sight, through Jesus Christ; let Him have all the glory forever. Amen.
Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom {be} glory for ever and ever. Amen. {working: or, doing}
I’m asking you, fam, to vibe with this word of encouragement; I’ve dropped you a quick letter.
And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.
Know that our dude Timothy is free now; if he swings by soon, I’ll catch up with y’all.
Know ye that {our} brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.
Say what’s good to your leaders and all the saints; the squad from Italy sends their love.
Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.
Grace be with you all. Amen. Written to the Hebrews from Italy by Timothy.
Grace {be} with you all. Amen. «{Written to the Hebrews from Italy, by Timothy.}»
