Genesis Chapter 11
The entire planet was vibing with one language and one dialect.
And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. {language: Heb. lip.} {speech: Heb. words}
They were on a journey from the east and found this dope plain in Shinar, so they decided to set up camp there.
And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. {from...: or, eastward}
They were like, "Aight, let’s whip up some bricks and get them fired up." They used bricks instead of stones and tar instead of mortar.
And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. {they said...: Heb. a man said to his neighbour} {burn...: Heb. burn them to a burning}
They said, "Let’s construct a city and a tower that hits the sky. We need a name for ourselves to avoid getting scattered all over the place."
And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top {may reach} unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
The Lord came down to check out the city and the tower the people were crafting.
And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
The Lord was like, "These peeps are united, and they all speak the same lingo. They’re just getting started, and nothing can kill their vibe."
And the LORD said, Behold, the people {is} one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
The Lord said, "Let’s roll down and confuse their language so they can’t vibe with each other."
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
So the Lord dispersed them all across the earth, and they halted construction on the city.
So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
That’s why it’s named Babel; the Lord jumbled up their languages there and scattered them all over the planet.
Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. {Babel: that is, Confusion}
Here are the family lines of Shem: he was 100 years old when Arphaxad was born, two years post-flood.
These {are} the generations of Shem: Shem {was} an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:
Shem was chilling for 500 years after having Arphaxad and had a ton of sons and daughters, no cap.
And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
Arphaxad was 35 when Salah came along, for real.
And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah:
After Salah was born, Arphaxad vibed for another 403 years and had more kids, fr.
And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.
Salah was 30 when Eber was born, solid move.
And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber:
Salah lived 403 more years after Eber and was blessed with more sons and daughters, periodt.
And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.
Eber was 34 when Peleg was born, that’s insane.
And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg: {Peleg: Gr. Phalec}
Eber lived it up for 430 more years after Peleg and had more kids, no cap.
And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.
Peleg was 30 when he had Reu, that's some serious rizz.
And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu:
Peleg chilled for 209 years post-Reu and had additional sons and daughters, for real.
And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.
Reu was 32 when Serug was born, big vibes.
And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug: {Serug: Gr. Saruch}
Reu lived another 207 years after Serug, and he had a bunch of kids. Vibes.
And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.

And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor:

And Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters.
Terah was 70 when he fathered Abram, Nahor, and Haran. Goated.
And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
Here’s the family tree: Terah had Abram, Nahor, and Haran; Haran had Lot. Bet.
Now these {are} the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot.
Haran kicked the bucket before his dad Terah in Ur. So sus.
And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.
Abram and Nahor tied the knot; Abram's wifey was Sarai, and Nahor’s was Milcah, who was Haran's daughter.
And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife {was} Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.
But Sarai was unable to have kids; she couldn’t conceive. Bussin’ in a different way.
But Sarai was barren; she {had} no child.
So Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, and they bounced from Ur of the Chaldees to hit up Canaan; they ended up chilling in Haran for a bit.
And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.
Terah lived for 205 years, then he peaced out in Haran.
And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.
