Genesis Chapter 10
Ayo, check out Noah's fam: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. They had kids after the flood, fr.
Now these {are} the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.
Japheth’s lineup: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
Gomer’s crew: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah, all vibin’ out.
And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
Javan’s squad: Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim, with lit vibes.
And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. {Dodanim: or, as some read it, Rodanim}
These homies divided the land like, “You take this area,” all according to their languages and families, no cap.
By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
Ham’s offspring: Cush, Mizraim, Phut, and Canaan, straight facts.
And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
Cush’s gang: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabtecha. Raamah’s kids: Sheba and Dedan, bussin’ hard.
And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
Cush had a son named Nimrod: dude was a total legend on Earth, no cap.
And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
He was the GOAT of hunters for the Lord, like, “Nimrod is the real deal.”
He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.
Nimrod launched his kingdom in Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, all in Shinar.
And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. {Babel: Gr. Babylon}
From that land, Asshur took off and built Nineveh, plus Rehoboth and Calah, fr.
Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah, {went...: or, he went out into Assyria} {the city...: or, the streets of the city}
And Resen popped up between Nineveh and Calah; that city’s straight fire.
And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same {is} a great city.
Mizraim had some kids: Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, and Naphtuhim, all vibing.
And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
Then Pathrusim and Casluhim rolled through (the Philistim come from them), plus Caphtorim.
And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.
Canaan first had Sidon, then Heth, just keeping it 100.
And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth, {Sidon: Heb. Tzidon}
Then you got the Jebusite, Amorite, and Girgasite, all part of the crew.
And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,
The Hivite, Arkite, and Sinite showed up too, just stacking up the fam.
And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
Arvadite, Zemarite, and Hamathite came through, while the Canaanite fam spread out.
And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.
Canaanites were all about that border from Sidon to Gerar, hitting Gaza, Sodom, and Gomorrah, no cap, even Admah and Zeboim to Lasha.
And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha. {Gaza: Heb. Azzah}
These are Ham's sons, flexing their families, languages, lands, and nations, fr.
These {are} the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, {and} in their nations.
Shem’s the original dad of all the Eber kids, and he’s got an older bro named Japheth.
Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were {children} born.
Shem’s kids are Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.
The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram. {Arphaxad: Heb. Arpachshad}
Aram's kids are Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.
And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
Arphaxad had a son named Salah, and then Salah had Eber.
And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber. {Salah: Heb. Shelah}
Eber had two sons: one was Peleg, ‘cause the earth split during his time, and the other was Joktan.
And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one {was} Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name {was} Joktan. {Peleg: that is Division}
Joktan had Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
plus Hadoram, Uzal, and Diklah,
And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
and then Obal, Abimael, and Sheba,
And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
and also Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab: all these are Joktan's crew.
And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these {were} the sons of Joktan.
They were chilling from Mesha all the way to Sephar, over in the east.
And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.
These are Shem's kids, repping their families, languages, and lands, flexing their nations.
These {are} the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.
