Ezekiel Chapter 11
So the Spirit lifted me and brought me to the east gate of the Lord’s crib, facing east, and I peeped 25 homies chilling at the gate; one was Jaazaniah, son of Azur, and another was Pelatiah, son of Benaiah, total vibe.
Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD'S house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.
Then He was like, "Yo, these are the ones scheming chaos and dropping sus advice in this city."
Then said he unto me, Son of man, these {are} the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:
They’re saying, “It’s not about to pop off soon; let’s build some cribs, this city is the pot, and we’re the meat.”
Which say, {It is} not near; let us build houses: this {city is} the caldron, and we {be} the flesh. {It is...: or, It is not for us to build houses near}
So, drop a prophecy against them, son of man, go off.
Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.
The Spirit of the Lord came through and said, "Speak; here’s the lowdown from the Lord: I see all your thoughts, no cap."
And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, {every one of} them.
You’ve stacked bodies in this city, filling the streets with them, straight ruthless.
Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.
So, the Lord God says: Your slain are the meat in this pot, but I’m about to pull you outta the middle of it.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they {are} the flesh, and this {city is} the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.
You’ve been shook of the sword; I’m sending a sword your way, says the Lord God.
Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD.
I’ll yank you out of there and hand you over to outsiders, and I’ll drop some judgments on you.
And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.
You’ll fall by the sword; I’ll judge you at Israel’s border; you’ll know I’m the Lord, no doubt.
Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I {am} the LORD.
This city ain’t gonna be your pot, and you won’t be the meat in it; I’ll judge you at Israel’s border.
This {city} shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; {but} I will judge you in the border of Israel:
You’ll know I’m the Lord; you haven’t rolled with my rules or done my judgments, just vibing like the heathens around you.
And ye shall know that I {am} the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that {are} round about you. {for ye...: or, which have not walked}
When I prophesied, Pelatiah, son of Benaiah, literally dropped dead. I hit the ground and cried out, “Ah Lord God! You gonna erase the remnant of Israel?”
And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?
Then the word of the Lord hit me again, saying,
Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
"Son of man, your homies, your fam, and all the house of Israel are the ones that the people of Jerusalem said, ‘Stay away from the Lord; this land is ours to claim.’"
Son of man, thy brethren, {even} thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, {are} they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession.
So say this: The Lord God says, "Even though I kicked them far away among the heathens and spread them out, I’ll still be like a little sanctuary for them wherever they go."
Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.
So say this: The Lord God says, "I’ll gather you from the peoples and bring you together from the lands you’ve been scattered, and I’ll give you Israel."
Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
They’ll come there and ditch all the filthy stuff and abominations from there.
And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
I’ll give them one heart and a new spirit; I’ll swap their stony hearts for hearts of flesh, fr.
And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
So they can vibe with my rules, keep my ordinances, and actually do them; they’ll be my people, and I’ll be their God.
That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
But for those whose hearts chase after their filthy stuff and abominations, I’ll make them pay, says the Lord God.
But {as for them} whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.
Then the cherubim spread their wings, and the wheels next to them; the glory of the God of Israel was over them, straight lit.
Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel {was} over them above.
The glory of the Lord rose from the city and stood on the mountain east of the city.
And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which {is} on the east side of the city.
Then the Spirit lifted me up and showed me a vision of Chaldea, to those in captivity. The vision I had seen left me.
Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.
Then I told the captives everything the Lord had revealed to me, no cap.
Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had shewed me.
