Exodus Chapter 24
So God was like to Moses, "Yo, slide up to the Lord with Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the homies from Israel; let’s vibe from a distance."
And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.
Only Moses can roll in tight with the Lord; the others gotta chill back, while the people stay down here.
And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.
Moses bounced back and spilled all the tea from the Lord, and everyone was like, "We’re totally in for that."
And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.
He penned everything the Lord dropped, woke up early, whipped up an altar underneath the hill, and set up twelve pillars for each tribe of Israel.
And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
He sent some young bucks from Israel to whip up burnt offerings and peace offerings of oxen for the Lord.
And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.
Moses took half the blood, tossed it in bowls, and splashed the other half on the altar, no cap.
And Moses took half of the blood, and put {it} in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
So he grabbed the book of the covenant and read it out loud to the crowd, and they all shouted, "We’re down to do all that the Lord said and stay loyal."
And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.
Moses splashed the blood on the people and said, "Yo, this is the blood of the covenant the Lord made with you regarding all these words."
And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled {it} on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.
Then Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the elders from Israel climbed up.
Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
They peeped the God of Israel, and under His feet was like a dope sapphire pavement, clearer than the sky.
And they saw the God of Israel: and {there was} under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in {his} clearness.
He didn’t throw hands on the nobles of Israel; they saw God and ate and drank, just straight chillin’.
And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.
The Lord hit up Moses, saying, "Come up to the mountain and kick it; I’ll hook you up with stone tablets, laws, and commandments I wrote so you can teach them."
And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
Moses rose with his dude Joshua and headed up the mountain of God.
And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.
He told the elders, "Stay put until we roll back; Aaron and Hur got your backs; if you need anything, hit them up."
And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur {are} with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.
Moses climbed the mountain, and a cloud covered it, keeping things mysterious.
And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.
The glory of the Lord was vibing on Mount Sinai, and the cloud hung out for six days; on the seventh day, He called out to Moses from the cloud.
And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
The sight of the Lord’s glory was like a fire blazing on top of the mountain in the eyes of the Israelites, totally wild.
And the sight of the glory of the LORD {was} like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.
Moses went into the cloud and scaled the mountain; he was up there for forty days and nights, no cap.
And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.
