Ephesians Chapter 5
Live like God, fam, just vibin' as His children;
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
And spread that love, 'cause Christ showed us mad love first, giving up Himself for us—totally on that sacrifice vibe, smells like good energy.
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
But for real, no fornication or any suspect behavior, don’t even let that slide among you saints;
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
Keep the convo clean, no raunchy jokes; stay 100 and express gratitude instead.
Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
You know that no player, unclean person, or greedy individual, who’s basically an idolater, scores a spot in the kingdom of Christ and God.
For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Don’t let anyone mislead you with their nonsense: God’s wrath is coming for the disobedient ones.
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. {disobedience: or, unbelief}
So keep your circle tight, fam.
Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
You were once in the dark, but now you’re shining in the Lord: walk like you own that glow.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now {are ye} light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
(The Spirit’s fruits are all about goodness, righteousness, and truth, no cap;)
(For the fruit of the Spirit {is} in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Show what’s shining to the Lord.
Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
Don’t associate with the unfruitful darkness; instead, call it out, fam.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove {them}.
It’s honestly cringe to even talk about the shady stuff they do behind closed doors.
For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
But everything that gets called out lights up with the light; whatever comes to light is light, no cap.
But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. {reproved: or, discovered}
So, he’s like, “Wake up, sleeper! Get up from the dead, and Christ will shine upon you.”
Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. {he: or, it}
So check this: walk wisely, not like fools, but like you got some game.
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
Make the most of your time, 'cause these days are sus.
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
So don’t be oblivious, get what the Lord’s got on the agenda.
Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord {is}.
And don’t get wasted on wine; instead, fill yourself with the Spirit, fr.
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Talk it out with psalms and hymns, vibe out and sing from your heart to the Lord.
Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Always be grateful for everything to God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Respect each other, fam, 'cause we gotta honor God, no cap.
Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Wives, show some love to your husbands like you would for the Lord, fr.
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
Husbands are the heads of the wives, just as Christ is the head of the church, and He’s the ultimate savior, periodt.
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Just like the church vibes with Christ, wives should vibe with their husbands in everything, bet.
Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so {let} the wives {be} to their own husbands in every thing.
Husbands, love your wives like Christ loved the church and gave up everything for it; that's legendary.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
So He can make it all clean and fresh, like washing it with the word, you feel me?
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
He’s tryna present a lit church, no spots or wrinkles, just pure and holy, that’s the aim.
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Men should love their wives like they love themselves, ‘cause that’s just how it is, fr.
So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
No guy hates his own body; instead, he treats it right, just like the Lord does with the church, no cap.
For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
We’re all part of His crew, His body, His flesh, and His bones, that’s the vibe.
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
For this reason, a dude leaves his family and vibes with his girl, and they become one whole unit.
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
This is a wild mystery, but I’m talking about Christ and the church, no cap.
This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
But for real, each of you should love your girl like you love yourself; and the girl should bring some rizz to her man.
Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife {see} that she reverence {her} husband.
