Ephesians Chapter 4
So like, I’m on this mission for the Lord, urging y’all to live your best life aligned with your purpose, fr.
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, {of the Lord: or, in the Lord}
With mad humility and chill vibes, just be patient and show love to one another, no cap.
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Trying to maintain the Spirit’s unity locked in peace, that’s the play.
Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
We’re all one body and one Spirit, just like you’re called to one hope, periodt.
{There is} one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
One Lord, one faith, one baptism, it’s all connected, fam.
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
One God and Father of all, who’s above everything, through everything, and in all of us, lit.
One God and Father of all, who {is} above all, and through all, and in you all.
Each of us receives that grace, based on the dope gift of Christ, no lie.
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
So when He rose up high, He took the captives with Him and dropped gifts for the crew.
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. {captivity...: or, a multitude of captives}
(Now that He ascended, it’s only right He also descended first to the lower parts, ya feel?)
(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
The one who came down is also the one who went up, way above all the heavens, to fulfill everything, that’s goated.
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) {fill: or, fulfil}
He gifted some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, and others as pastors and teachers; no cap.
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
To help the saints level up, do ministry work, and pump up the body of Christ, fr.
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Until we all vibe together in faith and know the Son of God, becoming a perfect crew, goated like Christ.
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: {in: or, into} {stature: or, age}
So we don't act like kids anymore, getting tossed around by every trend and sus teachings, no cap.
That we {henceforth} be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, {and} cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
But as we speak the truth with love, we mature into Him, who’s the real deal, Christ.
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, {even} Christ: {speaking...: or, being sincere}
From Him, the whole crew fits together, powered by every part doing its job, helping the body grow in love, periodt.
From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
So I’m saying this and keeping it real in the Lord, don’t walk like those other peeps, lost in their own vibes.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
Their understanding is dark, cut off from God’s life, clueless because their hearts are blind, fr.
Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: {blindness: or, hardness}
They’re numb and have given themselves to wild living, chasing all kinds of dirty stuff with greediness.
Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
But you guys didn’t learn Christ like that; that’s not the vibe.
But ye have not so learned Christ;
If you’ve heard Him and learned from Him, 'cause truth is all about Jesus, fam:
If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
Time to ditch the old vibes and the drama that’s all sus and messy;
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Get your mind right and refreshed, no cap;
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
Put on the new you, crafted by God, all about that righteous and holy life.
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. {true...: or, holiness of truth}
So, stop lying and just keep it real with each other, 'cause we’re all in this together.
Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
It’s cool to feel mad, but don’t let it turn into sin: don’t let the sun set on your anger.
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Don’t give the devil any space to vibe with you.
Neither give place to the devil.
If you used to steal, just cut that out: work hard with your hands and share the good stuff.
Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with {his} hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. {to give: or, to distribute}
Don’t let any toxic words slip from your mouth; only speak what builds others up and spreads good vibes.
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. {to...: or, to edify profitably}
And don’t make the Holy Spirit feel sad, 'cause you’re sealed for the ultimate redemption day.
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Yo, ditch all that bitterness, anger, and drama, like seriously, just vibe without the negativity, no cap.
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
Be kind to each other, fr, show some love and forgiveness, just like God did for us through Christ.
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
