Romans Chapter 2
Ayo, for real, you can't be judging others without checking yourself first, fam. That’s just sus vibes.
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
However, we understand that God’s judgment is legit for those who act up.
But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
You really believe, bro, that while judging others, you’ll escape God’s judgment when you're doing the same thing?
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Or are you just ignoring God's goodness, patience, and chill vibes? That goodness is what gets you to flip the script, fr.
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
But nah, you just piling up that bad energy with your hard heart, waiting for God's wrath day.
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
He’s gonna serve everyone what they deserve, no cap.
Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
For those who keep it real and do good, looking for glory and eternal life, that’s the real vibe.
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
But for the haters who don’t follow the truth and stick to the bad stuff, it’s gonna be straight chaos and anger.
But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
Trouble and stress for every soul doing wrong, starting with the Jews and then the Gentiles, periodt.
Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; {Gentile: Gr. Greek}
But mad props, honor, and peace to everyone doing good, beginning with the Jews and then the Gentiles too.
But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: {Gentile: Gr. Greek}
God ain't playing favorites, periodt.
For there is no respect of persons with God.
If you sin without the law, you’re still gonna face the consequences; if you sin with the law, you’re getting judged by it, no cap.
For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
Just hearing the law ain’t enough; you gotta live it to be real in God’s eyes, fr.
(For not the hearers of the law {are} just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
Even those without the law but still vibing right are like their own law, no cap.
For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Their hearts are lit with the law’s vibes, and their conscience is either calling them out or letting them slide, lowkey.
Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and {their} thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) {their conscience...: or, the conscience witnessing with them} {the mean...: or, between themselves}
One day, God’s gonna reveal all the secrets through Jesus, based on my gospel, bet.
In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Yo, you call yourself a Jew, chillin’ in the law, flexing on God, savage.
Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
You know what’s up, and you’re all about that high-quality stuff, schooled by the law, fr.
And knowest {his} will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; {approvest...: or, triest the things that differ}
You think you’re guiding the lost and shining light in the dark, rizz on point.
And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,
Teaching the clueless and the young ones, you’ve got all the knowledge straight from the law, no cap.
An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
Yo, if you’re teaching others, you’ve gotta check yourself too, fam. You telling folks not to steal, but are you out here stealing?
Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
You say nobody should cheat, but are you out here cheating? You hate on idols, yet still got your own sneaky vibes?
Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
You bragging about the law, but when you break it, you lowkey disrespect God, no cap?
Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
God’s name is getting dragged because of you, just like it’s written, periodt.
For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
Circumcision is solid if you keep the law, but if you break it, that just makes your circumcision sus.
For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
So if uncircumcised folks keep the law, isn’t that basically like they’re circumcised?
Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
And if the uncircumcised, who’s naturally that way, keeps the law, won’t they judge you for breaking it, even though you got the letter and circumcision?
And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?
A real Jew ain't just about the outside scene; that surface-level circumcision ain’t it.
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither {is that} circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
A true Jew is one who’s genuine on the inside; circumcision is all about the heart, in the spirit, not just on paper, and their praise comes from God, not people.
But he {is} a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision {is that} of the heart, in the spirit, {and} not in the letter; whose praise {is} not of men, but of God.
