Romans Chapter 14
Whenever someone’s lacking in faith, vibe with them, but skip the sus arguments.
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, {but} not to doubtful disputations. {not...: or, not to judge his doubtful thoughts}
Some people think they can chow down on anything, while others, who are a bit weak, stick to greens.
For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
Don’t let the eater throw shade at the non-eater, and the reverse; God’s got them both covered.
Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
Who even are you to judge someone else’s servant? They rise or fall before their own master, and God’s got their back.
Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
Some peeps rate one day over another, while others treat every day equally. Just keep it real with your own vibes.
One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day {alike}. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. {fully persuaded: or, fully assured}
If you vibe with a day, you do it for the Lord; if not, that’s chill too. Whether you eat or not, make sure to thank God.
He that regardeth the day, regardeth {it} unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard {it}. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. {regardeth: or, observeth}
None of us live solely for ourselves, and no one kicks the bucket just for themselves.
For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
Whether we’re living or dying, we’re all connected to the Lord; we belong to Him, no cap.
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
Christ took the L and came back to life to be Lord over both the living and the dead.
For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
So why you judging your homie? We all gotta stand before Christ’s judgment throne, periodt.
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
It’s written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess.”
For it is written, {As} I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
So, each of us is going to have to give an account for ourselves to God, fr.
So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Let’s stop judging one another; instead, ensure you’re not making your brother trip up.
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in {his} brother's way.
I know and I’m solid on this with Jesus; nothing’s unclean by itself; if you think it is, then for you, it is.
I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that {there is} nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him {it is} unclean. {unclean: Gr. common}
But if your homie gets salty about your food choices, you’re not being chill. Don’t mess him up over your meal, Christ died for him.
But if thy brother be grieved with {thy} meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. {charitably: Gr. according to charity}
Don’t let your good rep be seen as bad.
Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
The kingdom of God isn’t about food and drink; it’s all about righteousness, peace, and joy through the Holy Spirit.
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
If you’re serving Christ in these vibes, you’re cool with God and accepted by others.
For he that in these things serveth Christ {is} acceptable to God, and approved of men.
Let’s pursue peace and things that help each other grow.
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
Don’t let food ruin God’s work. Everything’s pure, but if you eat with a bad vibe, that’s sus.
For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed {are} pure; but {it is} evil for that man who eateth with offence.
It’s not cool to eat meat, drink wine, or do anything that trips your bro or makes them feel weak.
{It is} good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor {any thing} whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
Got faith? Keep it on the low before God. Blessed is the one who doesn’t judge themselves for what they allow.
Hast thou faith? have {it} to thyself before God. Happy {is} he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
If you’re doubting while eating, you might be in a sketchy spot, because you’re not eating in faith; whatever’s not from faith is sin.
And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because {he eateth} not of faith: for whatsoever {is} not of faith is sin. {doubteth: or, discerneth and putteth a difference between meats} {damned: or, condemned, or liable to punishment}
