Psalms Chapter 4
Ayo, God of my vibes, peep me when I call! You helped me through my grind; show some grace and hear my prayer, fr.
[To the chief Musician on Neginoth, A Psalm of David.] Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me {when I was} in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. {chief...: or, overseer} {have...: or, be gracious unto me}
Listen up, fam, how long you gonna flip my shine into shame? Why you chasing the fake and clout? Selah.
O ye sons of men, how long {will ye turn} my glory into shame? {how long} will ye love vanity, {and} seek after leasing? Selah.
Just a heads up, the Lord’s got the real ones covered; He hears me when I reach out.
But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
Stay woke, but don’t trip; vibe with your heart on your bed and chill it out. Selah.
Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
Bring those righteous vibes and put your trust in the Lord, no cap.
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
A lot of folks be like, "Who’s gonna bless us with the good?" Lord, shine your light on us, please.
{There be} many that say, Who will shew us {any} good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
You’ve stuffed my heart with more joy than when their harvests were straight fire.
Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time {that} their corn and their wine increased.
I’m about to lay down and catch those Z's in peace, 'cause you, Lord, keep me secure, periodt.
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
