Psalms Chapter 15
Ayo, who can hang out in your crib, God? Who can chill on your holy mountain?
[A Psalm of David.] LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? {abide: Heb. sojourn}
It's the one who keeps it 100, does good deeds, and speaks straight from the heart.
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
That person ain't throwing shade, ain't being shady to their neighbors, and definitely isn’t gossiping.
{He that} backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. {taketh...: or, receiveth, or, endureth}
They peep shady folks as a hard pass; they show respect to those who vibe with the Lord. They stick to their promises, fr.
In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. {He that} sweareth to {his own} hurt, and changeth not.
They ain't lending cash just for a quick profit or accepting bribes against the innocent. If you live this way, you’re straight fire.
{He that} putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these {things} shall never be moved.
