Psalms Chapter 102
Ayo, Lord, check my prayer and hear my call, fr.
[A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before the LORD.] Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee. {of: or, for}
Don’t leave me hanging when things get tough; slide in and hit me back fast when I reach out, no cap.
Hide not thy face from me in the day {when} I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day {when} I call answer me speedily.
My days are disappearing like steam, and my bones feel fried, straight up.
For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth. {like...: or, (as some read) into smoke}
My heart’s smashed and dried out like a desert; I literally forget to munch, periodt.
My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.
My bones cling to my skin from all the groaning, it’s savage.
By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin. {skin: or, flesh}
I’m like a lonely pelican or an owl out in the desert, just vibing solo.
I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.
I’m peeping like a sparrow on the roof, no one’s here with me.
I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.
My haters are on me daily, and those who are salty are totally against me, no cap.
Mine enemies reproach me all the day; {and} they that are mad against me are sworn against me.
I’ve been snacking on ashes like they’re bread and mixing my drink with tears, it’s rough.
For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,
'Cause you're salty and throwing shade my way; you raised me up just to knock me down, that’s sus.
Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.
My days are like a shadow disappearing; I'm dried up like grass, no cap.
My days {are} like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.
But you, Lord, are forever fire; your legacy vibes through all time.
But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.
You’re gonna rise up and show love to Zion; it’s her moment to shine, fr.
Thou shalt arise, {and} have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
Your squad loves her stones and is down with that dust, periodt.
For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.
The nations will respect the Lord's name, and all the kings will witness your glory, no cap.
So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.
When the Lord builds Zion, he’s gonna flex his glory.
When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.
He listens to the prayers of the lowly and won’t ghost them.
He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.
This is gonna be written for the next crew: the people created will hype up the Lord, bet.
This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
He looked down from his high place; from heaven, the Lord peeped the earth.
For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;
To hear the struggles of the captives; to free those marked for death.
To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death; {those...: Heb. the children of death}
Gotta rep the Lord in Zion and give Him major praise in Jerusalem; vibes.
To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
When the crew gathers up, and the kingdoms come to serve the Lord.
When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.
He drained my energy on the way; my days got cut short, no cap.
He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days. {weakened: Heb. afflicted}
I said, "Yo, God, don’t take me out in the middle of my hustle: your years are forever."
I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years {are} throughout all generations.
From way back, you set the foundation of the earth: the heavens are all your creation, fr.
Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens {are} the work of thy hands.
They gonna fade away, but you stay solid: yeah, all of them gonna get old like clothes; you’ll swap 'em out, and they’ll be changed.
They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: {endure: Heb. stand}
But you remain the same, and your years are eternal, periodt.
But thou {art} the same, and thy years shall have no end.
The kids of your servants will carry it on, and their descendants will be set up before you.
The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.
