Psalms Chapter 101
I’m all about that mercy and judgment vibe, Lord, no lie, I’ll be singing for you.
[A Psalm of David.] I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.
I’ll be staying sharp and legit, fr. When you roll up to me, I’ll step into my pad with a flawless heart.
I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
I’m not trying to peep any sus actions; those who turn their backs? They ain't rolling with me.
I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; {it} shall not cleave to me. {wicked...: Heb. thing of Belial}
A shady heart needs to dip from my crew; I’m not down with that wicked energy.
A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked {person}.
If you’re talking trash about your neighbor, you’re out, no cap; I can't mess with the arrogant and fake.
Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
My focus is on the real ones in the area; they’re the homies who can kick it with me; the perfect ones will rock with me.
Mine eyes {shall be} upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me. {in a...: or, perfect in the way}
If you’re all about the deceit, you can’t chill at my spot; if you’re lying, you’re outta my view.
He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight. {shall not tarry: Heb. shall not be established}
I’m coming for all the wicked vibes in the area; gotta cut off those negative energies from the city of the Lord.
I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.
