Proverbs Chapter 22
Having a solid reputation is way more important than cash, and good vibes are more valuable than gold, fr.
A {good} name {is} rather to be chosen than great riches, {and} loving favour rather than silver and gold. {loving...: or, favour is better than, etc}
Wealthy and broke peeps vibe together: God crafted them all, no cap.
The rich and poor meet together: the LORD {is} the maker of them all.
A wise person peeps the bad vibes coming and bounces; but the clueless just keep rolling and get burned.
A prudent {man} foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
Humility and fearing God lead to a solid life, respect, and mad blessings.
By humility {and} the fear of the LORD {are} riches, and honour, and life. {By...: or, The reward of humility, etc}
Shady traps and bad vibes are on the path for the sus; but if you protect your soul, you’ll dodge that chaos.
Thorns {and} snares {are} in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them.
Raise a kid right, and they won’t stray when they level up.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. {Train...: or, Catechise} {in...: Heb. in his way}
The wealthy flex on the broke, and if you owe, you’re pretty much their servant, no cap.
The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower {is} servant to the lender. {the lender: Heb. the man that lendeth}
If you sow bad seeds, you’ll reap nothing but chaos; the anger stick isn’t gonna last.
He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail. {the rod...: or, with the rod of his anger he shall be consumed}
If you've got a generous heart, you’re blessed; sharing your food with those in need is a whole vibe.
He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor. {He that...: Heb. Good of eye}
Kick out the haters, and the chaos will chill; all the beef and shade will disappear.
Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.
If you vibe with a pure heart, the king’s gonna be your homie, no cap.
He that loveth pureness of heart, {for} the grace of his lips the king {shall be} his friend. {for...: or, and hath grace in his lips}
God’s got the 20/20 on wisdom, and he shuts down the words of the haters.
The eyes of the LORD preserve knowledge, and he overthroweth the words of the transgressor. {the words: or, the matters}
The lazy dude’s out here like, "There’s a lion outside, I’m about to get wrecked in these streets."
The slothful {man} saith, {There is} a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets.
The words of sus women are like a deep pit; if you’re not cautious, you might just fall in.
The mouth of strange women {is} a deep pit: he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein.
Foolishness is all up in a kid’s heart; but some real talk will kick that out for good.
Foolishness {is} bound in the heart of a child; {but} the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
If you’re grinding on the poor to stack your coins, or giving to the rich, you’re bound to end up broke, fr.
He that oppresseth the poor to increase his {riches, and} he that giveth to the rich, {shall} surely {come} to want.
Tune in and soak up the wisdom drops; apply that knowledge to your heart, fam.
Bow down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto my knowledge.
Keeping this wisdom close is a whole vibe; it’ll roll off your tongue smoothly too.
For {it is} a pleasant thing if thou keep them within thee; they shall withal be fitted in thy lips. {within...: Heb. in thy belly}
So you can trust in the Lord, I’m dropping this knowledge on you today, periodt.
That thy trust may be in the LORD, I have made known to thee this day, even to thee. {even...: or, trust thou also}

Just tryna school you on the realness of the truth, so you can hit 'em back with the facts, ya feel?
That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee? {to them...: or, to those that send thee?}
Don’t be robbing the broke, 'cause they’re already down bad; don’t be savage to those in need at the gates.
Rob not the poor, because he {is} poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:
The Lord’s got their back, and He’ll deal with those who mess with them, no cap.
For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.
Don’t vibe with an angry person; steer clear of the ones always heated.
Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:
Otherwise, you might catch their bad energy and get caught up in a mess, fr.
Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
Don’t be one of those who shakes on deals or backs the homies for their debts, that’s sus.
Be not thou {one} of them that strike hands, {or} of them that are sureties for debts.
If you can’t pay up, why should they take your bed? That’s just wild.
If thou hast nothing to pay, why should he take away thy bed from under thee?
Hold onto the old school boundaries your fam set; respect the roots, periodt.
Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set. {landmark: or, bound}
You see a hustler grinding? They’re gonna pop off and be in front of kings, not just anyone basic.
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean {men}. {mean...: Heb. obscure men}
