Here’s the family tree of Jesus, the ultimate vibe check, son of David, son of Abraham.
The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
Abraham had Isaac; Isaac had Jacob; Jacob had Judas and his squad, no cap.
Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
Judas had Phares and Zara from Thamar; Phares had Esrom; Esrom had Aram, lit.
And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;
Aram had Aminadab; Aminadab had Naasson; Naasson had Salmon, for real.
And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;
Salmon had Booz with Rachab; Booz had Obed with Ruth; Obed had Jesse, periodt.
And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;
Jesse had King David; David had Solomon with the wife of Urias, goated.
And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her {that had been the wife} of Urias;
Solomon had Roboam; Roboam had Abia; Abia had Asa, savage.
And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;
Asa had Josaphat; Josaphat had Joram; Joram had Ozias, no cap.
And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;
Ozias had Joatham; Joatham had Achaz; Achaz had Ezekias, for real.
And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;
Ezekias had Manasses; Manasses had Amon; Amon had Josias, lit.
And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
Josias had Jechonias and his crew when they were taken to Babylon, sus.

After they hit Babylon, Jechonias had Salathiel; Salathiel had Zorobabel, bet.
And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;
Zorobabel had Abiud; Abiud had Eliakim; Eliakim had Azor, pop off.
And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
Azor had Sadoc; Sadoc had Achim; Achim had Eliud, fr.
And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
Eliud had Eleazar; Eleazar had Matthan; Matthan had Jacob, no cap.
And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;
Jacob had Joseph, the husband of Mary, and she gave birth to Jesus, who’s called Christ.
And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
So, all the fam from Abraham to David is 14 generations; from David to Babylon is 14; from Babylon to Christ is 14, lit.
So all the generations from Abraham to David {are} fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon {are} fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ {are} fourteen generations.
Now, here’s how Jesus was born: Mary was engaged to Joseph, and she was already preggo by the Holy Spirit, fr.
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
Being a chill dude, Joseph didn’t want to expose her, so he thought about keeping it on the down-low.
Then Joseph her husband, being a just {man}, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
While he was pondering, an angel showed up in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don’t stress, take Mary as your wife; what’s in her is from the Holy Spirit.”
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. {conceived: Gr. begotten}
She’s gonna have a son, and you’re naming him JESUS: he’s here to save his people from their sins, no cap.
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. {JESUS: that is, Saviour, Heb}
All this went down to make what the Lord said through the prophet come true, periodt.
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
Yo, a virgin’s gonna have a child and call him Emmanuel, which means God’s with us, lit.
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. {they...: or, his name shall be called}
Then Joseph woke up and did what the angel said, taking Mary as his wifey.
Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
He didn’t know her until she had her firstborn son, and he named him JESUS, goated.
And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
