Mark Chapter 10
So he bounced from there and hit up the Judea shore across the Jordan, and his crew rolled up on him again; he was teaching them like usual, fr.
And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.
The Pharisees pulled up and were like, "Is it chill for a dude to ditch his wifey?" Trying to catch him slipping, no cap.
And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away {his} wife? tempting him.
He clapped back, asking, "What did Moses tell you?"
And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?
They answered, "Moses let us draft a divorce paper and send her packing."
And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put {her} away.
Jesus hit them with, "He wrote that because your hearts are hard, fr."
And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.
From the jump, God crafted them dude and girl.
But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
That’s why a guy leaves his fam and vibes with his wife;
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;
And they become one unit now: no more two, just one flesh, periodt.
And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.
What God has connected, no one should tear apart, for real.
What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
Later, in the crib, his crew asked him about the same topic again.
And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same {matter}.
Jesus said, "If you ditch your girl and marry someone else, that’s straight-up sus."
And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
"And if a lady leaves her man to get hitched to another, that’s also mad sus."
And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
They brought their kiddos to Jesus for some love, but the squad was like, "Nah, chill out."
And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and {his} disciples rebuked those that brought {them}.
But Jesus was not having it and said, "Let the kids come through, no cap. They’re the real MVPs in the kingdom."
But when Jesus saw {it}, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
"For real, if you don’t vibe with the kingdom like a kid, you ain't getting in."
Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
He scooped them up, gave them some vibes, and blessed them.
And he took them up in his arms, put {his} hands upon them, and blessed them.
Then a dude came running up, knelt down, and asked, "Yo, good teacher, what’s the secret to eternal life?"
And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
Jesus replied, "Why you calling me good? Only God’s got that title, fr."
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? {there is} none good but one, {that is}, God.
"You know the rules: No cheating, no killing, no stealing, no lying, and show love to your fam."
Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
The guy said, "Teacher, I’ve been keeping it 100 with that since I was a kid."
And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
Jesus peeped him and felt some type of way, saying, "Yo, you missing one thing: bounce, sell your stuff, give to the poor, and you’ll stack treasure in heaven. Then come through, pick up your cross, and roll with me."
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
Dude was bummed about that and dipped, feeling all kinds of ways, 'cause he had mad cash.
And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
Jesus looked around and told his crew, "It’s tough for rich peeps to get into God’s kingdom, fr!"
And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
The squad was shook by his words. Jesus hit them with, "Listen up, fam, it’s super hard for those who trust their cash to get into God’s kingdom!"
And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
It’s way easier for a camel to squeeze through a needle's eye than for a rich dude to enter God's kingdom, no cap.
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
They were totally mind-blown, asking each other, "So who can even get saved?"
And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
Jesus looked at them and said, "With humans, it’s a no-go, but with God? Everything’s possible, periodt."
And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men {it is} impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Then Peter was like, "Ayo, we dipped from everything to follow you."
Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.
Jesus replied, "For real, no one who leaves their crib, fam, or homies for my sake and the gospel’s..."
And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
"...won’t get back a hundred times now—houses, fam, and lands, plus some drama; and later, eternal life in the next world."
But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
But like, the first peeps will end up last, and the last ones will pop off first.
But many {that are} first shall be last; and the last first.
As they were vibing their way to Jerusalem, Jesus was leading the squad, and they were shook. He pulled the twelve aside and started spilling the tea on what was gonna go down.
And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him,
He was like, "Yo, we’re heading to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man is gonna be handed over to the big shots and the scribes; they’re going to roast him to death and hand him over to the Gentiles."
{Saying}, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles:
They’re gonna clown him, whip him, spit on him, and then cap his life: but on the third day, he’s gonna rise up again.
And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
Then James and John, Zebedee’s sons, rolled up to him, saying, "Yo, Master, can you do us a solid and give us whatever we ask?"
And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.
He replied, "What do you want me to do for you, fam?"
And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you?
They said, "Let us chill, one on your right and the other on your left, in your glory."
They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.
But Jesus was like, "Y’all don’t even know what you’re asking: can you handle the cup I’m about to drink from? And vibe with the baptism I’m about to get?"
But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
They said, "We got this." And Jesus was like, "For real, you will drink from the cup I drink from, and you’ll get baptized with the baptism I’m about to have."
And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:
But sitting on my right or left isn’t my call to make; it’s for the ones it’s been prepared for, no cap.
But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but {it shall be given to them} for whom it is prepared.
When the ten peeps heard this, they were lowkey mad at James and John.
And when the ten heard {it}, they began to be much displeased with James and John.
But Jesus was like, "Yo, come here. You know how the bosses flex on the Gentiles? Yeah, it’s like that."
But Jesus called them {to him}, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. {are...: or, think good}
But nah, that’s not how we roll. Whoever wants to be dope among you has to serve everyone, fr.
But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
Whoever wants to be the GOAT has to be the servant of all.
And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.
For even the Son of Man didn’t come to be served, but to serve and drop his life for the squad.
For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
They rolled up to Jericho, and as he was leaving with his crew and a crowd, blind Bartimeus was out here begging by the road.
And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
When he peeped it was Jesus from Nazareth, he started shouting, "Yo, Jesus, Son of David, show me some mercy!"
And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, {thou} Son of David, have mercy on me.
A bunch of people were like, "Chill out," but he yelled even louder, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"
And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, {Thou} Son of David, have mercy on me.
Jesus stopped and told them to bring him over. They called the blind dude, saying, "Stay lit, get up; he’s calling you!"
And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
He tossed off his coat, stood up, and bounced over to Jesus.
And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
Jesus was like, "Yo, what do you want me to do for you?" The blind dude replied, "Lord, I just wanna see again."
And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
Jesus told him, "Bet, your faith just leveled you up." And instantly, he could see and started vibing with Jesus.
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. {made...: or, saved thee}
