Leviticus Chapter 9
So on the eighth day, Moses rolled up on Aaron, his sons, and the Israelite elders;
And it came to pass on the eighth day, {that} Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;
He was like to Aaron, "Snag a young calf for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering, no cap, and present those to the Lord."
And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer {them} before the LORD.
To the Israelites, he mentioned, "Grab a kid goat for a sin offering; also, snag a fresh calf and lamb, both flawless, for a burnt offering."
And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, {both} of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering;
Plus, bring a bull and a ram for peace offerings to the Lord; and a meat offering blended with oil: today, the Lord's about to pull up.
Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the LORD will appear unto you.
They brought everything Moses commanded to the tabernacle, and everyone circled up around the Lord.
And they brought {that} which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.
Moses dropped, "This is what the Lord told you to do: His glory is gonna show up."
And Moses said, This {is} the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.
Moses said to Aaron, "Hit up the altar, offer your sin and burnt offerings, and make atonement for both yourself and the crew, just like the Lord said."
And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.
So Aaron made his way to the altar and took out the calf for his sin offering.
Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which {was} for himself.
Aaron’s sons brought the blood to him; he dipped his finger in it and placed it on the altar's horns, pouring out the rest at the base.
And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put {it} upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar:
But he roasted the fat, kidneys, and liver caul from the sin offering on the altar, as the Lord instructed Moses.
But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses.
As for the flesh and skin? He torched that outside the camp.
And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire without the camp.
He took care of the burnt offering; Aaron’s sons brought him the blood, which he sprinkled all over the altar.
And he slew the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the altar.
They set up the burnt offering with its pieces and the head, and he burned those on the altar.
And they presented the burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof, and the head: and he burnt {them} upon the altar.
He cleaned out the insides and legs, then tossed those on the burnt offering on the altar.
And he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt {them} upon the burnt offering on the altar.
Next, he brought the people's offering, snagged the goat for their sin offering, took it out, and offered it just like the first one.
And he brought the people's offering, and took the goat, which {was} the sin offering for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.
He handled the burnt offering and did everything correctly.
And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner. {manner: or, ordinance}
He brought the meat offering, grabbed a handful, and roasted it on the altar next to the morning's burnt sacrifice.
And he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt {it} upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning. {took...: Heb. filled his hand out of it}
He also took out the bull and the ram for peace offerings for the folks; Aaron’s sons brought the blood to him, which he sprinkled all over the altar.
He slew also the bullock and the ram {for} a sacrifice of peace offerings, which {was} for the people: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,
The fat from the bull and ram, the rump, what wraps around the insides, kidneys, and liver caul:
And the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth {the inwards}, and the kidneys, and the caul {above} the liver:
They placed the fat on the breasts, and he torched that on the altar.
And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:
Aaron waved the breasts and right shoulder as a wave offering before the Lord, just like Moses instructed.
And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved {for} a wave offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded.
Aaron raised his hand to the folks, blessed them, and stepped down from offering the sin, burnt, and peace offerings.
And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.
Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle, came back out, and blessed the people; the Lord's glory showed up for everyone to see.
And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.
Then fire came from the Lord and took out the burnt offering and fat on the altar; when the people peeped it, they were hyped and fell on their faces.
And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: {which} when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.
