Leviticus Chapter 27
So, the Lord was like, Moses, check it,
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
"Let the crew of Israel know, when someone makes a vow, it’s all about the Lord, you know what I’m saying?"
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons {shall be} for the LORD by thy estimation.
"For the guys between 20 and 60, you’re talking about 50 shekels of silver, no cap."
And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
"But for the girls, it’s only 30 shekels, fam."
And if it {be} a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.
"If they’re aged 5 to 20, the guys are worth 20 shekels, and the girls are 10, fr."
And if {it be} from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
"For the little ones, from a month to 5 years, the guys are 5 shekels, and the girls are 3, periodt."
And if {it be} from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation {shall be} three shekels of silver.
"If they’re 60 and older, the guys are 15 shekels, and the girls are 10, lit."
And if {it be} from sixty years old and above; if {it be} a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
"If he’s strapped for cash and can’t meet your estimate, he just needs to hit up the priest, and the priest will sort it out based on what he can manage."
But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.
"And if it’s an animal for the Lord, whatever is given is totally holy."
And if {it be} a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto the LORD, all that {any man} giveth of such unto the LORD shall be holy.
"Don’t switch it up, no swapping good for bad or bad for good; if you trade beasts, both need to be holy, no cap."
He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.
If it’s a sus beast and no sacrifice is made to the Lord, then the dude’s gotta show it to the priest, fr.
And if {it be} any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest:
The priest's gotta check the vibes, good or bad: however you rate it, that’s how it be.
And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, {who art} the priest, so shall it be. {as...: Heb. according to thy estimation, O priest, etc}
But if he wants to reclaim it, he’s gotta add a fifth to its value, no cap.
But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth {part} thereof unto thy estimation.
When a dude makes his house holy for the Lord, the priest's gotta estimate it, good or bad: whatever the priest says, that’s the deal.
And when a man shall sanctify his house {to be} holy unto the LORD, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.
If the guy who made it holy wants his house back, he’s gotta throw in a fifth on top of your estimate, and it’s his, periodt.
And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth {part} of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.
If a dude makes part of his field holy for the Lord, the estimate’s based on the seeds: an homer of barley seeds is worth fifty shekels of silver, lit.
And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD {some part} of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed {shall be valued} at fifty shekels of silver. {an...: or, the land of an homer, etc}
If he makes his field holy during the jubilee year, it stands by your estimate, bet.
If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand.
But if he does it after the jubilee, the priest's gonna figure out the cash based on the leftover years until the jubilee, and it’ll be less than your estimate.
But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.
If the guy who made the field holy wants to get it back, he’s gotta add a fifth of the cash to your estimate, and it’s secured for him.
And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth {part} of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.
If he doesn’t wanna redeem the field, or if he sells it to someone else, it’s not coming back, no cap.
And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.
But the field during the jubilee is all about that holy vibe for the Lord, like, it’s totally committed; the priests get the goods.
But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the LORD, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest's.
If someone dedicates a field they purchased to the Lord, and it’s not from their own land,
And if {a man} sanctify unto the LORD a field which he hath bought, which {is} not of the fields of his possession;
The priest will assess its worth based on the jubilee year, and that’s straight-up holy for the Lord.
Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, {even} unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, {as} a holy thing unto the LORD.
In the jubilee year, the field goes back to the original owner, like, that’s just how it operates.
In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, {even} to him to whom the possession of the land {did belong}.
All your valuations need to align with the sanctuary shekel: twenty gerahs make one shekel, no cap.
And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.
Only the firstborn of the animals, which belong to the Lord, can’t be dedicated by anyone; whether it’s an ox or a sheep, it’s all the Lord’s.
Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the LORD'S firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether {it be} ox, or sheep: it {is} the LORD'S. {firstling of: Heb. firstborn, etc}
If it’s an unclean animal, you redeem it based on your estimation and add a fifth; if it’s not redeemed, it’s getting sold based on your price.
And if {it be} of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem {it} according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth {part} of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.
But nothing dedicated to the Lord from all that a person owns, whether it’s people, animals, or land, can be sold or redeemed; every devoted thing is super holy to the Lord.
Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, {both} of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing {is} most holy unto the LORD.
Nothing dedicated by people can be redeemed; it’s gonna be put to death, fr.
None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; {but} shall surely be put to death.
And all the tithe of the land, whether it’s seeds or fruit, belongs to the Lord: it’s holy for the Lord, periodt.
And all the tithe of the land, {whether} of the seed of the land, {or} of the fruit of the tree, {is} the LORD'S: {it is} holy unto the LORD.
If a dude wants to redeem any of his tithes, he’s gotta add a fifth on top. No cap.
And if a man will at all redeem {ought} of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth {part} thereof.
And for the tithe of the herd or flock, whatever goes under the rod, the tenth is straight-up holy to the Lord. Periodt.
And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, {even} of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.
He ain’t gotta check if it’s good or bad, no swaps allowed; if he does switch it up, both the original and the switch are holy and can’t be redeemed.
He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.
These are the guidelines the Lord gave to Moses for the squad of Israel on Mount Sinai. Lit.
These {are} the commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.
